Really great podcast! Enjoyed the back & forth between the two of you & the recipes in Dan’s cookbook as well as the stories he had to tell on his travels to make this cookbook.
Another great interview Rip! Just love all your podcasts! ❤ 😊 👍 🤗

As I was listening to Dan’s interview, Amazon delivered Dan’s new book to my front door. It’s beautifully done. Can’t wait to try some new recipes. Blue Zones Kitchen was also beautifully done. Thank you for having Dan on your show.

Hi Rip. I have been following your podcast for over a year. I have learned so much since I did. I am from Colombia and I transitioned to a 90% plant based diet because after reaching menopause my blood pressure started going up, and my cholesterol numbers where a bit higher too. My whole Colombian family is having similar issues. I would love to share all for your videos with them but unfortunately most of them don't speak English. I was trying to change the settings on RUclips to see if they can get the captions in Spanish, but I couldnt. After doing some research I learned that this features can be accessible if the presenter changes the settings by selecting the audiences/languages they want to reach. I am sure there's a lot of people out there in the Hispanic community that would enjoy and benefit from your videos. Thank you so much for all you do and I hope you take my suggestion into consideration.

Hi Maria, I am so glad you have requested this.. thank you.
I really hope they see our comments. I also have been following Rip and his whole family for a while now and would love to share this knowledge with my Colombian family, so much needed. I started this journey years ago for preventive purposes, almost 100% WFPB myself, family with many chronic conditions..
really hope we could get this info in Spanish as well..🙏🏼🙏🏼

If you're ever in Utah, you must stop at the little hole-in-the-wall, Vegan Bowl. They have delicious Pho and other Vietnamese food. I get the veggie pho because it doesn't include fake meat. Oh! My! Goodness! The broth is sublime.

This was a fascinating interview, and I'm very tempted to get the book even though I'm pretty sure that living in southern Italy there will be many ingredients that I will not be able to get, like Serrano chilies, cilantro, masa, etc. You may or may not be aware of how lucky you are to live in the USA where everything is so readily available!

Campfire squash! Just throw a squash in the coals at the edge of your fire and rotate a few times. Nice charred flavor - most excellent.
    Will buy the book!

Great interview Rip! Of all the interviews I've seen for this book, you were the most enthusiastic for the right reasons! You leaned into ALL aspects of Dan's work, not just the book. Not just surface questions about the recipes. Your genuine love for good food is a good match for Dan's energy as well. As much as I am looking forward to the recipes, I am most anticipating the stories, the photography and the culture that oozes from this book. It will be a treasured piece on my coffee table.

Arepas are sooo good! I eat arepas every weekend, stuffed with plantain, black beans, or scrambled tofu, vegan feta,...so yummmy. One of the best foods from Venezuela :)

Yes. My son and d-i-l, coincidentally are on the Big Island THIS WEEK! I told them to look this cafe up and d-i-l informed me they were permanently closed. I was very disappointed...

Live to be 100??? Why? Everyone i know and love will most likely be dead. I’m 72, in excellent health, and my hope is to live as long as I’m useful and have good quality of life. I do not want to outlive all of my loved ones.
