I'm just happy to get gift cards for groceries. I have been skipping meals for over 3 months now. A light breakfast and hopefully some kind of dinner. I have to skip lunch because I can't afford it. I had to get rid of my dog because I couldn't afford to feed them which broke my heart.

Singh is a hindu name, stop crying about yourself you loser, phone grand pappy and go back to your family home in india. Stop adopting dogs and eating them for nutrition.

People are out because they got gift cards when they really just wanted money.

Gift card is the lamest idea, you might as well give cash OR visa/mastercard gift card so you're not limited to on retailer.

@@Peacenutman Depends. If you shop mostly at one store, then a gift card works. Example. I got gift cards for groceries at a local store, a fuel card, and my favorite hardware store. I'm quite happy.

The deals aren’t as good as they were 5 years ago

For sure, back then boxing day you 50%-80% off was the norm, now it's only roughly 30% off.

Prices are all inflated in the first place. Not really a deal if items are 40-50% off since November

We have to be cheap when all levels of government are bending us over and taking us dry while they pocket money and waste billions of taxpayer dollars like there's no tomorrow.
If I were in charge of this country I could fix so many things, but then people like me would never get elected.

Pathetic now since you can buy all online. Notice hardly anyone had shopping bags. I did. So much garbage.

outrageous comment , buying online just to waste so much electricity and gas, boxes, and gas for delivery. GOD, please do not buy stuffs.

You can’t return stuff you buy on sale at The Brick if you open the box. Best Buy, Walmart and Costco have better return and exchange policies.😢

Hopefully it helps retailers recover some costs from being over taxed like the rest of us! Mostly gift cards and returns is what retailers are saying to me.

Not even Boxing Day could get me to spend my money on the big "NOTHING BURGER". I am sure a lot of these buyers are having buyers remorse today. Good luck to you all.
