Y’all obviously don’t watch the Suns. Suns swept Utah last season because Gobert drop coverage has no effect on CP3 and Booker with the mid range they have

  • @indamaking

There’s a couple of teams in the league with elite defense, and those teams can halt the Jazz, who struggle against elite defending teams: Suns, Warriors, Clippers, Bucks

The Suns disrespect needs to stop. Cp3 was injured in almost every series last year in the playoffs, and he still dropped 41 pts in the WCF as a 36 year old. The Suns are on the warriors level, they won 18 straight even beating Brooklyn on a back to back and the warriors without DBOOK.

utah went from "they just don't have the experience to do well in the playoffs yet" to "the jazz just can't get it done in the playoffs"
    in a four-year span.
when 90% of players don't hit their peak until years 7-10, that's a pretty confident bet being made that the team/players cannot still get better

At 13:49 , you talk about who’s replacing Conley when he goes down. Forgot about Clarkson, and Ingles (as currently constructed)

Utah vs Phoenix would be an awesome series. Both teams healthy I think it goes 7 games and I don’t even know who I’d take. If I had to pick I would say Utah but I have been known to underrate the Suns

Ayton is a good player but guys like him can only impact the game so much the way it's played now. He's not a shooter and they're not going to play through him on offense so his scoring is limited. Teams are great at boxing out now so fouls on rebounds are easily called and with the modern pace big men can't battle under the rim they have to get back. There isn't really rebounding specialists anymore, it's mostly big men who's frame carves out the space that allows them to rebound without fouling. Everybody else gets 10 a game.

    "fundamentally broken?"
    chemistry
    coaching
    team offense
    individual scorers
    individual defenders
    depth
    3&Ds up and down roster
best defensive center in the league
    top tier training/development staff
owner with bottomless pockets willing to spend
    d-wade sitting courtside- mentoring Dmitch
    homecourt advantage like no other.
all of these elements are undeniably strong
The argument you are making by saying fundamentally broken is that as is, they aren't built to win
AS IS, they are built to win any game. your argument becomes, "i dont have faith they will play well in the playoffs"
    which is possible, sure.
but not built to win...fundamentally broken...thats just silly
