I have a terrible memory of having to be in that line for what felt like 4 and half hours, on what might have been *the* *busiest* time, in the scorching heat.. BUT HE JUST GETS TO WALK RIGHT ON THROUGH I GET IT
Word of advice for people who wanna go in this ride. The crowds for the rides are so different in the late afternoon/night hours. I went on a Saturday and waited about 40 minutes for this one and almost an hour for the other one and that was when we first got there in the morning. We came back later in the day and literally walked on this one 4 times and the other one once. For whatever reason the rides aren't as popular at night, that's what one of the people who worked there told us. This one literally went from 50 minutes to 5-10 and that's how long it takes you to walk through the line. So just a heads up for anyone wanting to go. I'm going again on a Sunday and I was surprised how many times we were able to ride this one (being new and all) on a weekend.
This is by far one of the best rides ever. rode this 2 times back to back. it's extremely realistic. there is a hydraulic arm that moves the seat. seemed scary at first but the effects are to die for. you will appreciate this ride immensely if ur a harry potter fan. and even of you are not. this ride is a must try. i will definitely want to come back for this over and over. great work #universal studios

I do look a little bit like Hermione Granger, because of the curls in my hair. She's Hope's best friend who's married to Ron Weasley.

I’ve been on this ride and I remember waiting outside the castle for like a half hour but once you get inside time flies right by because the castle is amazing. Even if you don’t want to ride it you should go just for the castle attraction.
Everyone is complaining about the queue. When I went the line was really long but it totally didn’t feel like a long wait at all! It was so cool going through the castle. If you haven’t been there, you should go, it’s so fun!!

Dueling dragons got removed from Florida 2 years ago, and was replaced with a Hagrid coaster. It was never in Hollywood, though, to answer your question.

Universal is extremely anal about recording their rides. Aside from the fact that you can't take big cameras onto the ride and put everything in a locker, they'll yell at you if you have your phone out

At Universal you can buy a Front of the Line pass if you the extra cash. I personally recommend getting in line in the most popular attractions, like Harry Potter, when the park opens because crowds come in later in the day. You can even ride it right before the park closes.

wait, the line for radiator spring racers is shorter than this one? if the crowd is as big for this line, then dang it.. but the good difference is that this line seems to mostly be inside while the radiator spring racers one is mostly outside, in the hot sun :/
well the standby line for radiator springs has a large portion of it under a sort of roof cover thing, while single rider and fastness bypass all that and are only in the sun. And yeah, I *think* RSR has a pretty long queue but doesn't seem to be quite as long as this one.
I got on that ride once and the girl pressed the overhead bar hard against my chest and stomach that I couldn't breathe though the whole ride. Ruined my experience. Not fun.

I don't remember every time you go flat (about 5 times) but I remember you go flat at: When you see the Whomping Willow (it looks awesome) When you are in the Forbidden Forest (right before you see Aragog) Multiple times during the dementor scene.

This ride has you on a robotic arm, which runs on a track that goes through the show building located behind the castle.
That's pretty much the exact same as the one in Orlando! I've been to the one in Orlando and next month I'll be going there in Hollywood
It's like several days untill I go there but watching this my heart is racing so fast I might have a heart attack before I go then I'd be sad :3

I don't know about Hollywood but in Universal Orlando that don't let you save spots. They make you go back to the end of the line.
