- Her Majesty Queen Mathilde, Queen of the Belgians visited the OXFAM world shop in the city of Mechelen. The Queen celebrated her 50th birthday on 20 January 2023. Trade organization OXFAM also blows out 50 birthday candles and were very pleased that Queen Mathilde would visit their store. The Queen spoke to the volunteers and showed a great deal of interest in fair trade and the commitment of this organization, which largely runs on volunteers. A video including a word of explanation by a volunteer.

Hey Alain, bedankt voor de super reactie. In principe had ik nog meer videobeelden wanneer ze buiten tussen het publiek ging praten. Maar door de druk was ik vergeten op het rode knopje te drukken. Gert. Maar ok, het was een mooie ervaring, ondanks de strakke regels, om er bij te kunnen en mogen zijn.
@@Traveltoppereu kan ik me inbeelden dat het protocol heel strikt is en misschien mochten de chitchat niet gefilmd worden.
