Im very dissapointed you didn't include the scene where raj gets a desk in Sheldons office... Every line from raj was pure gold! By far my favorite raj moment
In S03E23, The Lunar Excitation - It’s Raj who has the idea to create an online dating profile for Sheldon. When Amy replies to the profile, Raj and Howard tell Sheldon and he scoffs at the notion. Howard gives up, but Raj persists. He blackmails Sheldon with a dirty sock hidden somewhere in the apartment. Raj is the reason that Sheldon agrees to the coffee date and meets Amy. IMHO, this is one of Raj’s finest moments.
Of the main characters, Raj was the most mistreated by the writers. His race and his initial disability were used unendingly as the butt of jokes, yet he didn't get a plot payoff in the end. Raj had a sweet, sexy quality, and yearning for a romantic pair bond, yet he's the one who ends the show alone and made to seem creepy in the series finale at the Nobel Prize presentation. It always bothered me that he was not the one to end up with Bernadette, when 1) Howard could've easily ended up alone and not been upset by having the perceptual single life and 2) Howard on multiple occasions implies that Bernadette was not hot enough for him. I blame Howard's crappy undermining of her self-esteem for her sweet character changing into a bully. Even though it was just Raj's fantasy, Bernadette and Raj's Bollywood performance is one of my favorite scenes in the series, and it exemplifies Raj's drive to go the extra mile to make a woman feel special. Raj was serious boyfriend and eventual spouse material and would've made a great dad down the road. It's appalling that the writers even gave Stewart (the writers' most mistreated reoccurring character), a happy ending with a relationship, but not Raj. Beyond Bernadette as an option for Raj, bringing back Lucy was a possibility or even bringing back Sheldon's sister Missy, who last we heard had broken up with her husband, was a great option... now that Raj could fully express himself verbally without aid of alcohol and had more life experience, he would've made a great romantic partner for Missy and a wonderful step-dad, and let's be real, him being related to Sheldon and Mary Cooper was just comical to think about. Raj is the BBT writers' great missed opportunity.
If Young Sheldon eventually reveals that Raj and Missy did in fact end up together, on the one hand, it'll be nice to know that they both finally got to be truly happy, but on the other hand, it will be also frustrating that the main show never showed that.
Yeah, I always found it hard to believe that Raj was the only character who couldn't get a girlfriend. He was the best-looking and sweetest guy on the show.
I think Howard getting with Bernadette was great because it made him mature fast, but yeah Raj treated her better than Howard. More importantly, out of the four of them Raj was the best listener and actually new what girls wanted in a boyfriend.
@@andrewjones575 Sheldon's ending might have been a peace offering to all the parents who worry about their kids finding someone while being the way he was...
I know they did a "pull an Edith/ George" where the main character is always dumped on romantically *referring to Edith of Downton abby and George Crabtree of Murdoch Mysteries.
The problem with the Raj character is that at some point in the series the writers didn't simply know what to do with him they had no idea where to lead him to. That was after he and Stuart worked as nannies for Bernadette and Howard. They had no problem fixing Stuart with a girlfriend to close his arc but for some reason they couldn't bring themselves to do the same with Raj. In the end they just left him as a floater.
My Most hilarious Raj moment was with Howard asking him if got fat. Lifted their tshirts to feel fatness by putting hands on chest, Raj telling Howard hebis fine and howard thanking him that he needed to hear that & then Bernadette walked in behind
And more than that, Raj is the most savage of all. He casually destroys with his counters. In Season 3, Episode 1, Howard wears Hat to blend in Texas but Raj said, "To what? Toy story". Howard is explicitly funny one, while leonard is implicit. Raj is a savage.
The audience loved Raj, but the writers seemed to hate him. They turned him into a complete and utter joke, never gave him a break and he’s the only one who ended the show single, despite being the best looking one out of the guys. Even Sheldon, got a girlfriend before Raj did and he doesn’t even have a sex drive. Still, glad to see this video in my home page. After the latest episode of The Boys, it was nice to see something that could distract me from my trauma.
@@byersvhs To me, it's awesome! It deconstructs not only the idea of super heroes but takes a cynical look at celebrity culture, who celebrities are behind the scenes as opposed to how they appear to us. However, it is violent and some scenes can get really disturbing. So, if you're squeamish, you might want to avoid it.
My Favorite Raj moment is the episode where they are having a video game weekend but the girls interrupt it and Raj has a meltdown saying "I was very much looking forward to this weekend. It was gonna be like the old days, the four of us hanging out playing video games before you guys all got girlfriends. Do you have any idea what it’s like to be the only one without a girlfriend? Even if I get one someday, I’ll still be the guy who got a girl after Sheldon Cooper!"
My favourite theory about Raj is this: In Young Sheldon, Sheldon says that Missy ended up having 4 children but by the time TBBT ended, she had just 2. I want to think that later, Raj and Missy ended up together and the last two were Raj and Missy's kids. It's possible coz Missy found Raj cute in season 1
She doesn’t want to remember it because she was using Leonard to make herself feel better because of Kurt. She said that only because she truly loves Leonard and she was also drunk when they had their first kiss
Howard standing up for Raj after all the harsh comments from his ex's was a good moment. Of course the ex's then started saying stuff as if they were gay together. So yes... He was the problem in those relationships 🙄
it bothers me that they didn't bother giving Raj a good ending. I mean, everyone else is either married, having babies or receiving awards. With Raj, he did have a thing with Anu but they broke up a few episodes before the finale? I mean, it is cool he was sitting next to Sarah Michelle Gellar in the finale but its not hinting at anything. I wish they ended with him getting engaged or finding his perfect match (he's always a romantic so he should have a romantic ending).
All the other guys mistreat their women at some point but Raj always treated his woman and friend so well. He was so supportive of Penny, Bernadette and Amy . He deserved his fairy tale ending because he was such a hopeless romantic. He was the so good looking, smart, caring, sensitive, supportive and his parents were rich. Even Stuart had Denise then why didn't Raj end up with anyone. The makers really did him dirty
I don’t think they did. I disagree with you. Raj always went on about “who don’t women like me?” He never did anything about it, he never changed at all. In season 9, he breaks up with Emily so he can pursue Claire. When he finds out Claire is in a relationship, he begs Emily to get back together. Then, later in the season, he starts dating both of them at the same time, and brags about it a lot. And I’m supposed to feel bad for him?!
The character of Raj was mistreated by the show's writers. Not only did he end up alone in the end, he was also pretty much the laugh-at friend who was always unlucky in love (fairly though), couldn't talk to women at first, had a funny foreign accent and generally his positive qualities were rarely being pointed out during the show. I feel bad for him because of that. At least this channel gives him some sort of justice.
But he doesn't improve much or try to. He lives off his rich parents while not progressing at work or in his personal life. He's privileged, fussy & effeminate, then surprised that he can't find a long-term GF.
When near the end of the series he helped Amy embrace her new confident self by giving her a beautiful makeover that's my favorite Raj moment, that and also when he first got his puppy Cinnamon 💕🐶
My first pick maybe number eight, but I can still comment my other three picks. Number one: his speech at Howard’s Bachelor party, number two: helping Howard find Sheldon a girlfriend on a dating website, and number three: helping Sheldon get back at Kripke with Leonard!
@@andrewjones575 yeh lucy, her having social anxiety and him not being able to talk to women without alcohol for some period of time, i they there good for each other
Raj is my favorite character. He is funny . Remember when he said that Howard didn’t have a shot with a woman he was chasing in a park and it was a “felony”? . When he sang Beyoncé’s song single ladies in season 3 . His meditation scene with Sheldon in s3 is hilarious as well.
I thought that the writers were going to bring him out of the closet before the show ended. Instead that left him as single as he was on the first episode. He deserved better than that

My favorite Raj moment was when he solved the equation when he was working with (not "for") Sheldon and Sheldon had to admit he was wrong.
The texting date was amazingly accommodating. I loved that more than anything. It was spectacularly sweet!!!!
Honorable mention: Raj and Howard switching accents, and the time Raj mocked Sheldon in his American accent.
