Karen you're such a lovely lady and a kind hearted soul, when i watch your posts it feels like im meeting up with a very good friend that ive known for years, ( does anybody else feel this way? ) you've really found your feet on your journey and you have a natural talent for reviewing caravans, tourist attractions and pretty much much all you have presented. Life must be great for you and the memories shall sit alongside you forever, the Bailey range of caravans has always been a favourite of mine as they seem to include everything you could possibly need and in all the right locations, " they flow with ease and they always look timeless ". I must add at this point ( in the nicest way of course ) i cant wait till you get back on you're travels to other parts of the world simply because you present them honestly and show those like myself places we are never likely to see or experience for ourselves ! i must wish you a safe and adventurous time on your travels and i will see you soon Karen . all the best from one of many friends you never knew in the U K !!
@BAILEY CARAVANS: Since I am overseas also, I would really like to see you ship this caravan over to New Zealand for Travelling K to use there permanently. Naturally, Travelling K would need to be consulted first, but since you do so many overland trips etc, I think this would be a very interesting and fascinating project. Travelling K could document the registration process and usage and Bailey Caravans could document the conversion for New Zealand use (electrics etc) and the actual shipping. It's abundantly clear that she likes this Phoenix 640 and if she has found UK roads to be narrow compared to New Zealand, then I don't think she is going to have any issues pertaining to size unless there is a legal requirement in NZ that prevents her from towing the Phoenix with her own vehicle.
I never comment on videos, but you have become an addiction to me, watching you as a single woman brave our UK roads - you are so brave! I've watched all of your UK vids now, and am working through your NZ ones! Loved seeing how you 'do life' in your caravan, and this Bailey Peonix looks awesome! Thank you for your time and input in these vids, you do a great job! Bailey caravans... I would echo other comments on here - please ship this caravan to NZ for Travellling K!
Love love love your video's and i can see how passionate you're about your travels and the bailey caravan. Your an inspiration to us all for your bravery and commitment to the caravaning life. I hope and wish that Bailey do the right thing and gift you that caravan? sending my best wishes and good luck for your future journey's.. ;0)
I think Bailey have really hit the nail on the head with this Phoenix range, very well prices, a good weight and the specifications are brill. We are hoping to buy our first caravan next year and I'm really torn between the Bailey Phoenix 650 or 760.
Come on Bailey, Karen has done some serious marketing and good PR for your caravan ... Ship it over to her as a big thank you. I know I would if it were a product of mine :-)
Yes, we found out why they call them weeping willows, and that a lot of other trees drip sap too. I am amazed how many campgrounds have trees that hang over parking areas.
Hi K Well thanks for all your hard work while in the UK I followed your reviews on the 2020 new caravans and we purchased a new Van (due March 2020) same layout as the one you used but it’s a coachman 645 solely on the higher specs was the main reason to PX our other caravan thanks again Dave 👍👍
Hi Karen great videos. I see you were parked under the things I hate when it Rains. Trees, it carries on raining huge spots way after the rain stops. Glad you enjoyed the Bailey, I have had 4 Baileys and love them. All the best back home
Hi Karen you have given Bailey caravans a very good review over the last couple of months a brilliant review on this vlog as I have said before they should give it to you s a gift you deserve it I am sure they can afford that they are a massive company xx
Excellent review Karen, we bought our first caravan, a Bailey Persuit, this year, after years of camping, and loved your videos, particularly when you took on those narrow English roads, and came out smiling. Hope Bailey do the right thing.
Hi Karen great review. We're thinking of ordering a 2021 640 and I think from your review we are happy with your conclusions which seem positive but not in anyway will rebound on you. It will be our first new caravan but we liked your frankness on plus and negatives. Hope you returned to NZ safely and will update when and should we order. Smiles Tony & Jacqueline
Having a bedroom door you can lock was a good point to make re security. Never occured to me. I will be living fulltime in my caravan and security is on top of my list. My thinking re the island bed is more about being able to make the bed without having to climb onto of the matrasse...which is fine for a holiday but will get old really quick - for me, anyway if I have to do it every 3 days for the next 5 years. I also thought I prefered the L shape lounge but that pullout table - as a mini work surface would be very, very handy. Really thorough and enjoyable to watch - review, K - thanks for that!🙂 🌸
That was a nice video on the caravan. I don't remember a single con in the whole video. Bailey's should be proud of their Phoenix 640 Caravan. They could have offered it to you at a great discount. Of course it would have cost a fortune to have it shipped back to NZ. After reading the comments I found the one about the frig vent and realized there was a con. lol Maybe Baileys will take your comment into consideration and fix the problem with the vent. You and the review deserve a thumbs up and I gave you one. 👍
@@millomweb Not much you can do about rain noisy in a caravan. I would think blocking a vent, whether it sucks air in or blows it out, would affect it. Especially like she said in the hot summer months.
Lovely caravan and layout, the dealer specials of these vans have several upgrades inc an electric hot plate so if I was to get one I’d go for one of those, has it made you think about changing yours soon?
Watching the tour of the van and was wondering when you were at that little control panel could you turn off the rain till this video is over...ta muchly....just kidding, another great video
Karen, thanks so much for all your reports, now you are in the final stage of your voyage I think Bailey should make some commercial gester for all that great publicite given on Bailey Phoenix 640 caravan.
The truma 4/6 E will definitively go into my next caravan. Running off electricity when out of gas is just so convenient; also the control is nice.. mine feels so dated in comparison.
Good Afternoon Karen, Thank you for the quick caravan review, a very nice thought out van!! Take care and a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your Family 👍😎🇬🇧.

Great review, but I have to say that the fridge vent issue and even more so the EHC point (being on the awning side) would be the reasons for us NOT to buy a bailey. Shame as it lets down a really nice looking van.
