Hey all, loving your adventures. Forgive me if you about this already, I may have missed it. I was curious if there was a reason you don’t flat tow your Subi?

I don’t know if we’ve ever said why. Our Subaru is not rated to flat tow. You actually can’t tow it with any tires touching the ground. It has to be on a flat bed or trailer. The transmission, transfer case, and differentials all have electronic pumps. So the engine must be running for the vehicle to roll. I think we are allowed to roll it 30 feet with the engine off before it voids the warranty.
