Let’s go Washington Life! My husband and I love your videos! We went out yesterday as well and we also found a few spots like yours with all those clusters! Thank you for posting and can’t wait to see more ❤
I think You have Found a Cluster ..that one at 7;33 was Great ..Well My Man unless it looks as Your be Back out again .... Can't wait ...Thanks for the Trip..
I only found a few and mostly just singles this year. I figured the snow that came in ended the season. What altitude are you still finding them? I'm assuming since things are frozen you are at higher elevation just below snow level.
@@washingtonlife when I was in gp I did run into snow on veterans day weekend. The kids got to have their first snowballs of the year along with their first Matsutake and first elk. Great weekend. Not sure I will make it back there this year since it's 3hrs + away.
@washingtonlife this is very good to know, thank you. I pick them on the Oregon coast and most everything else has stopped growing except them. I'm pretty shocked at how many are still growing. I'm still filling baskets with very little work.
@ yes these mushrooms they actually like the cold and I’m filling up baskets as well and I’m leaving a lot behind for future growth. Thank you for watching and your feedback

I’m around 1500 or a little higher and what’s crazy I will be posting a video on me foraging them in the snow. They actually survive in snow
Yup they like the snow
@@washingtonlifedo they actually pop up more with the snow or do they just stay frozen below ground?
@ with the experience I have with them is that they do pop up above the snow a little bit

How late do you find them? A lot of people have said they grow until there is snow on the ground.
@@ORGourmetMushrooms yes you can still find them when there’s snow and I’m planning to pick them in the snow in my next few coming videos
