Dont forget sophie schoel and her brother. They also were executed by guillotine at the hands of hans freisler known as hitlers executioner. He was the one who condemned those hung by piano strings after they aided valkarie in attempting to kill hitler.
@@RAINBOW44100Correct, it was Roland Freisler . I have seen and heard footage from the trials in 1944. That's quite something else. It's like something going on in medieval times, not modern Germany. Worth a study.
On some of the pictures you can see like a copper troff , like a funny lookin sink. Especially on the smaller metal type ones inside the prisons. I think this was positioned over a drain and used to catch and then channel the blood down and away while the victim bled out. Can imagine , that if the German's made it , it would have been effective and efficient. 🤔😔😕
Unfortunatly, a lot of the pictures used in this Video were not from the Third Reich, but from earlier periodes of time, and some even not from Germany. It would be nice, to mark the pictures with the right source and time.
How ironic, given that the guillotine was literally invented by a bigfoot during the Fourth War of Patagonian Independence, during which it was used to punish those who were convicted of wizardry and necromancy. It’s basic history, dude.
I strain to try to hear this narrator’s words! The sound is quite muddy and bassy. Needs more treble! Needs to not be so monotone! SPEAK UP MAN!! RIGHT INTO A MICROPHONE!!
I don’t agree with you that the Nazis “stole” the guillotine from the French. They copied the design and built their own, modified guillotine. The guillotine, BTW, was also adapted in Sweden, where it was only used once, and probably in other countries as well. A device rather like the guillotine had been used in Italy in the Middle Ages, and then there was the ‘Halifax gibbet’ in the North of England. So the guillotine was not a modern invention at all.
No mention of Sophie Scholl and her brother? Probably the most famous victims of all... Absolutely incredible. They really deserve to be mentioned and remembered. You can Google her name at least. 👎
They were murdered at Stadelheim Prison in Munich. This is about Plotzensee Prison in Berlin. I do agree that a video should be done about the White Rose and their deaths.
Possibly executed many but thousands??? I would have thought it was too slow to be doing that and they probably used other methods. Still barbaric and outrageous though
Imagine how haunted that place must be 😮
That was my first thought .
I cannot imagine how haunted the executioners must have been should they have developed a human conscience.
Tell me you're American without telling

for stirring up sedition during wartime..a capital offense
Freisler was Hitlers shouty judge..johann Reichhart was the executioner.
I think his name was Roland Freisler

I agree with you 💯 and then justice avenged the Scholl siblings and the Valkyrie guys in the end.
I admire the quality of story telling and how he always says Thank You for watching
Learning something new today, thanks.
There must have been blood everywhere, what a job cleaning up after must have been 😱
That's why the families were charged fees. These fees covered cleanup costs and the like.

If I know the Germans, they most likely had a drain and a hose to wash the place after an execution.
17......so brave. 😢😢😢😢
You know that if even the Gestapo[ appealed for clemency. the sentence was especially egregious. Poor lad. Just awful.

the pic on the left of the thumbnail is of a French execution
As are several other images.
This type of stuff is why we bigfoots chase humans out of the woods

The Fallbeil at Plotzensee was destroyed when the prison was bombed by Allies.

Gallows humour!
Wouldn't surprise me if todays republican MAGAs actually tried to..

So what happened to that footage?
Worse than the barbaric French Revolution
When the World went mad...
And it can so easily happens again..

How were guillotined buried?
I never knew that huns used an axe and a block,i wonder if they used a blunt axe for some like in medieval times....
Sophie Scholl.💔
A true Heoine . One very brave Lady .
Mildred Harnack. She was an American citizen guillotined in Plotzensee Prison.
l'exécution par la guillotine etait surement la moins douloureuse et la plus rapide
Have you yourself tried various to compare?
I’ve been there .

Ploetzensee, Charlottenburg, Berlin.
Good grief they certainly meant business
