Im am a nephew of Rosa McCauley Parks. It makes me feel strange when people still have hatred in their hearts and minds about this. I was at this funeral in the front row. In D.C. I met the president and many others. So dont be close minded, theres a whole world out there. Insanity is not being able to change.

as a white boy growing up in southern america at the time, i had to come head to head with racism in my own life as propagated by attitudes among the original jim crows (family and friends there). now, i still see signs of the polished james crow jr, esq. that rev sharpton speaks of. america's presidential campaign is rife with these signs. i pray that this laser-like message of hope finds root in fertile ground and sprouts a new heaven and new earth of peace, love, and tolerance.

Rev Sharpton is giving the message that Black folks need to hear and return back to the bass and that is to stand for something positive and basic and stop going for anything. Its time we the people stop our excuses and mend our ways by working together stop destroying and killing each other instead learn the meaning of love and sister and brotherhood. The entire funeral was amazing... they definitely sent Ms. Parks out in style. I would like to see a few more of the speeches as well.

It is a way African American pastors talk. They seem to put more emphasize and talk stronger than other nationalities.
