Fact 22. Timothy actually has a multi-purpose. It isn't just a jump scare that does weak 5 damage, but I learned that everytime timothy damages you, bandages start to spawn. So, timothy decreases the chance of items like vitamins, lockpick, and lighter spawning by doing 5 damage to you. Because your luck of getting another item decreases to spawn a bandage to get yourself back to full health. I know this is 6 months late, so it probably won't get recognized.

I like Timothy, Timothy is just a little buddy, yes he is scary at first. A bandage heals 10 hp, Timothy does 5 hp (96+ hp), so you could just look for one.
He can't kill you so he is pretty much useless. All he does is just look for a friend.

I don’t hate or love Timothy, while I don’t like his jumpscare, my game is usually a little laggy, but I just say he gives me time to prepare, I tolerate him. He also did get me on Door 0, scared the crap out of me because I didn’t know he could be in there.

Fun fact: Timothy can spawn in Figure’s Library where the list of shapes are in the drawers but it’s rare.

Spiders are generally hated, so they need some support. Timothy, also, doesn’t try to and is physically unable to kill you. He also is generous by warning you that he’s in a drawer beforehand. He is also very cute, and small. The description for timothy supports this by saying “Hello there little spider!” Meaning that the devs wanted timothy to not be seen as a threat. Why else would he not be able to kill you? He is also very welcoming, as he is shown in the lobby on his little spider web, not attacking anyone, further supporting that he doesn’t want to kill you. Also, unlike SOMEONE ELSE (AHEM, LOOKING AT YOU JACK), he cannot easily cause you to die from another entity, unless it’s eyes or something. His jumpscare is also very brief, meaning that he tries to get his jumpscare over quick. He is also very rare, meaning he is most likely endangered, and who doesn’t wanna protect an endangered species? Exactly, join us. Join the timothy lovers. I know i’ve written an entire essay, but I hope I have made my point clear.

The reason why Timothy is the worst:
Most new players will have a tendency to loot from drawers, but then Timothy appears and catches them off guard. They just assume that it’s a fluke and continue looting. Timothy appears again and players just start losing trust in drawers. They eventually come to the point where they just stop looting and then stop opening drawers. They don’t trust the drawers anymore. They don’t want to get jumpscared by a spider. They mostly use lockpicks instead of keys.
