- Hi all,
Today we'll go through the vast majority of what you should need for your psychology exam on component 2. This is mainly theory-based, so I've reviewed definitions, exam questions, and step-by-step guides on topics such as standard deviation. Some things such as graphical representation I haven't covered - but these are topics that are relatively simple to look over, plenty of maths or other videos out there, in addition to your own learning in the classroom.
Even still, topics such as distribution are covered in this video via definitions, but you should have your own revision notes anyway on that. For the most part, the graphs in component 2 are slightly more difficult than GCSE maths in my opinion. So don't stress, but try your best and revise vigorously.
Big thanks to my friend for the revision notes that have made this video possible.
Thanks.
Exam wednesday guys. Will be reliant on this by watching it the night before and omw to school. 🤗
i’m absolutely cooked
@@DanielPrice06 just watch this and try remember most of it. Ps know how to do standard deviation as its not mentioned how to here. Also Kohlberg and Milgram (1963) methodology/procedures and 3 evaluation points
How do you all find the exam?
I think I did better in this one compared to the component 1 exam.
I wasn't sure about the ethics committee and ethical guidelines question, alongside the draw an appropriate graphical representation question😕
@@GoopyFlips yeah those questions sent me and I thought Milgram would be there. Always god damn Kohlberg
@@GoopyFlipsethical committee and guidelines would basically be naming like deception , risk to privacy , consent etc and then saying how psychologists would stop ethical issues arising if that makes sense
25 mins of content wowee but a lot too take in. Also cheers dude for the comp 1 vids, Exam on Wednesday went decent. Bring on Comp 2
Good to see that you're staying motivated, dominate the rest of your exams.
Let me know if I've missed anything, and I can make a separate video going over that concept. Cheers
How am I supposed to remember all of this I’m so lost
fr man, im cooked atp
🤣🤣🤣It's definitely not the most enjoyable activity. My honest advice would be to just maintain intensity in your revision sessions. Give yourself rests, give yourself breaks, so then you're motivated to smash out more revision. In the moment of the exam, your controlled stress will cause you to remember much more than you think it will. So you can trust that you'll actually remember it, as long as you put in the work though.
