It always makes me feel so much better to hear other people say how they like a notebook for the same reasons I do. The feel of paper,the way it feels chunky, and the way it sounds 🙌 None of my friends get it lol I also have actually always liked when a pen makes indents on the other side of the paper too and how that feels on the page 🤷🏼♀️
Love this so much, thanks for sharing. I switched out of my pp tn to a bound notebook as well. I just had to finally own and face the reality that as much as I love the art work I really dislike the paper in the insert books. I don’t love how they don’t stay open and flip down when I’m writing…I love love love the lay flat of a bound book. I chose Hobonichi though because I am not interested in printing and pasting monthlies like at all and I just need them. I love that the hobonichi has the calendar but I still have blank pages too. I also adore Hobonichi a5 covers. I’m over leather at this season of my life. I’ve been a subscriber to simply gilded for years, it’s my favorite subscription of all time….and I just adore to lay down pretty washi and write write write. The next box is more fall themed but in general her boxes really wouldn’t be a seasonal type of a situation, but that doesn’t bother me. I’ve been subscribed since the 3rd box ever…lol.. Top notch quality. I feel like fountain pens (which I also love) work SO MUCH BETTER on Stalogy or Hobonichi than the textured strathmore paper. I love the thin crinkly paper and the ghosting doesn’t bother me in the least. I really love it. I hope you keep sharing your set ups, whatever they may be. God bless! 💖💖💖

Simply Gilded is so beautiful and I upped my sub to the full box so I’m excited to get it. I’ve also got myself in trouble at Lauren Phelps designs, the washi tape shop and London gifties 😬. I'm loving my B6 Stalogy. I have it in a Planner Perfect TN with a Planner Perfect yearly planner and the weekly menu journal with it. I also have an A5 Stalogy with a Modern Gray croc cove and a September Leather cover to choose from that I will use again in January.
I went down to this size to use my cover and to carry. But I love the A5 size. So in January I will switch back to the A5 size. I love my September leather TN from Amazon in the A5 size. It allows me to use the strings that I like. But I live switching things up.

Because I know she’s creative she could do a lot with a stalogy and it would be a cost to effective way to get started . She could do a simple 2 page spread for the month. I have printables I can give her to glue in and then a 2 page weekly spread and 2 pages for every day 1 of the pages for the schedule for the day and 1 of the pages for journaling and then she can adjust as she goes. She can use stickers and washi tape to decorate or just keep it simple and hand lettering the day of the week will give her a natural built in daily practice. I can help her set it up.
You did exactly what I've been contemplating since Friday. LOL. Basically the only reason I was struggling with the stalogy was some of the monthly set up. So I really love the yearly PP calendar and was thinking of combining it with the stalogy in 2022. My plan for those blank pages between the months is for financial/budgeting stuff. Maybe some reference in those extra pages at the end. Great video.
Yes! Being able to have the PP yearly totally solved that forward planning issue for me. I like the financial planning idea for the in between pages I think I might do that too.
I just wanted to say as a hard of hearing person I found it extremely difficult to hear you with the background noise I found your video very interesting as much as I could watch.

That is the really cool thing about being in the b6 size you can still use the planner perfect tns. I wish mine fit.
