Great video! I'm a total functional planner and I do tune in for your deco planning. I agree to do whatever you need to stay engaged if that's deco then decorate until your hearts content .

You should listen to the book “The 12 Week Year”. It specifically is about being hyper focused on your goal for a short amount of time. It may work for how your brain works.

I've actually been trucking away reading this book all quarter! My notes section is FULL of notes from my reading this. I'm excited to see how the 12 week year will play itself out in my planner routine in 2023.😉

Thank you for sharing your migration process. Your advice on reflecting was super helpful as I begin to set up my next planner. 💜 I also just really love seeing how other people use their planners.

Great advice on reflecting. I find myself moving around to different planners. I’m going to think about what I need from a planner, and honestly see if I can discover why I jump so much. Moving is tiring and not fun.

Not to mention planner hopping gets expensive. 🥴This is the routine that helped me figure out exactly what I needed in a planner system and what parts attracted me to whichever planners I was hopping to. Turns out that it would be one small aspect of a planner that attracted me but the rest of it didn’t work. Unbiased reflection and actually following through with your discoveries from that reflection (as noted in the video I have a problem with doing that 😂) can save you time, stress and money.

I just started watching, but that opening about trying to get your life together using planners and stationary supplies... oh boy do I feel that lol 😅😁

“Getting your life together using planners and stationary supplies” should be the motto for the planner community 🤣

@@AdultingwithNovia 🤣 omg so true. I think that's part of the reason I love watching people plan. Seeing how other people manage life helps me figure out how to manage my own 😁💜

This was so helpful! I am the same way about goals and I never really thought about it, but you are spot on. I'll just give up on all the goals and I never realized that I was probably trying too much at once. I think I'm going to still write out goals for the year, but then just pick one at a time to focus on. And those tending sheets... LOVE the idea, but I never complete them! haha

As you can tell I stopped doing the tending sheets all together so we’re on the same boat 😂
