Same here, it's a fun hobby and luckly I live in a state where it is fine to do as a hobby, only downside is about 10 miles away is a state it isn't fine to do in so I have to make sure I just leave them at home so I don't accidentally forget them in my car when I have to drive through the state just a few miles away.
Just learned of this channel. Wow! Most informational lockpicking channel. Bill is super generous with giveaways. And just sounds sincerely friendly. Thanks!
Also, I wasn’t that into lockpicking until my friend locked her home key and stood outside for 2+ hours waiting for her son-in-law to bust the doorknob! Thanks to Bill’s explanations on lockpicking tools, I’m into it! Just wish I ran into this channel when you were giving away the Kronos from Multipick! Lol
Only HPC tools I have are padlock shackle shims. This set would make a good set to put in survivel kit or bug out bag. Something that will work at the time of needing it. They don't take much abuse but work for the job needed.
My very first set. I recieved it as a gift but I was not into it back in the days... Until now... Starting to learn it. Just need more locks to practice. I just do not have the funding for this hobby.
No kit is complete without a trusty L rake in my opinion! Nice video btw. Also, did you make your website by yourself? It looks and handles very professionally.
Bill has some excellent videos on security pins. If you want good picks that aren't horribly expensive I have had great luck with my Praxis kit from UK Bumpkeys. There are links to their US and UK warehouses in the video description. Bill's review is here: ruclips.net/video/FSnYEccX4jg/видео.html
This was my first pick set and although I prefer my Praxis kit there are a few locks that I use the remaining unbroken picks from this kit for but once I get some new 0.019 picks I'm sure I won't use it again.
I watched several of this review videos. Tried to figure out which good dimple pick kit I should buy but I cannot decide... Anyone with self made experience can suggest me a good one please?
As a professional locksmith and forensic locksmith I m not a fan of HPC picks. They are made from a brittle spring steel. As a forensic locksmith, granted all common lock picks leave scratches in the core and on pins that leave physical evidence. The HPC picks have had a reputation of sharp edges to them. There are forensic cases that trace the evidence back to an individuals specific pick. That is a felony - turning a lock-sport hobby tool into a burglary tool when used on locks you don’t own. I have heard of cases of picking open a friends apartment who was locked out. The owner of the lock is the landlord, not the tenant. Laws generally permit a licensed and bonded registered locksmith to open it legally when proper ID is provided accordingly.
I will say this I purchased two sets from that company. And they are really good sex. But on your advice I also purchased one from the company of mastering the lock. I think those are better quality than the hpc set. This is just my opinion but the ones from mastering the lock even their basic set had way more to it. Also the edges were not Sharp on the HPC set you need to take a little time to stop getting your fingers cut up
bosnianbill thanx Bill.....also the website you got the best Bump keys from...... www.bumpschool101.com Is a scam.....took my money and is no longer on line!
bosnianbill my fault.....i didn't know..... lost $135 to them..... guess it's gone! Their phone number on the site was to some old lady that only spoke Spanish.....guess my $$$ is gone!..... EBay has been my best bet for bump keys.
The pic set from hpc is crap its the same only double up as a £12 quid set from bang good couple of extra pics . wt hell 50 dollers the extra are worth winning nice aditions . Bill you would have not promoted that a year ago . I just wish some one would bring out some new stuff at a reasonable price and stop just stamping chinese cheep stuff with a company logo even good companies are selling some of this crap . Sorry bill just had to speek my mind im not political just a grumpy old git who says it as i see it .
looks like another useless kit filled with duplicates and other things hardly anyone uses like those two car tensioners.. yet again sparrows is superior, providing picks that people actually use in just one kit.
Bill.. this channel is awesome! I got into lock picking from your channel. It's a hobby I have been truly enjoying. Thanks again for the great videos!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kudos and your subscriptions! Welcome to the LockSport Tribe!😀

Bill always makes the kits better, never owned a comercially made set, just my own!
Really interested in taking up lock picking for fun, love working with puzzles and a good challenge. Great video bill!
Definitely the add ons are worthier than the kit itself!
God this would be a nice upgrade. Thanks for providing info on deals for kits like this Bill!
Only HPC tools I have are padlock shackle shims. This set would make a good set to put in survivel kit or bug out bag. Something that will work at the time of needing it. They don't take much abuse but work for the job needed.
My first kit was an HPC! Still have some of them and use them to this day
My very first set. I recieved it as a gift but I was not into it back in the days... Until now... Starting to learn it. Just need more locks to practice. I just do not have the funding for this hobby.
Nice set but I think u should sale a kit because their always missing something and u always put in what someone's really going to need
I would like to win just the extras Bill threw in!
That tron pick is a little workhorse. You can pick your way through a heck of a lot of locks with it and some ToK tensioners.
That’s not too bad. Thanks for showing it. Purple button tapped.
They look awesome! I love the black finish too!
I like how you always add in extra stuff Bill.👍🏽🍺😎
Fingers crossed for this set!!!!
Great beginner lock pick set
No kit is complete without a trusty L rake in my opinion! Nice video btw. Also, did you make your website by yourself? It looks and handles very professionally.
Exactly!!!
Thanks for an Awesome channel Bill!
Excellent video as always Bill!
Awesome video Bill!... Been following you for a bit now. Keep up the great work- leslie
Now that would be very handy, just broke my first couple of picks trying to pick security spools :( Great vid again Bill
Lighter tension. Lighter tension :P
Yes, I`m learning that :) Im fairly new to lock sporting, gutted to lose my picks :(

Great review Bill thanks for the info.
Once again great review and as always nice extra goodies added!!
Hey, which brand and type is that Deforest Diamond you threw in? It's not by Sparrows, is it?
No, it is by SouthOrd. I don’t think Sparrows makes a DeForest.
You rock, Bill!
Jeez. I'd srsly level up with this kit.
Thanks Bill 😊
For the price point I would take the Praxis kit over this one any day.
Indeed, there is allot of filler in the kit reviewed
I have two of the Praxis kits. They are great. I thought Bill was too generous with this review.
Definitely. I thought the kit is a bit... lackluster.
This was my first pick set and although I prefer my Praxis kit there are a few locks that I use the remaining unbroken picks from this kit for but once I get some new 0.019 picks I'm sure I won't use it again.
cardiffpicker1 .019 picks you say? Who offers those?
Nice review
That's what I'm looking for.
Hey Bill where did that deforest come from? thanks
Who made the Deforest Diamond you threw in?
Like them after the add ones.
The price is great, but they do not sell entry tools to the general public!
Hope I get picked
I watched several of this review videos.
Tried to figure out which good dimple pick kit I should buy but I cannot decide...
Anyone with self made experience can suggest me a good one please?
Good video
From use in my career as a locksmith, I would say hpc picks are good, but they do tend to bend a little bit after heavy use.. not great!
Nice!

Most of these picks are exactly the same as "Mastering The Lock" picks which i got for $19.95 some have bent, twisted, snapped they are so weak
Its you not the pick. Your raking to hard
*_That saw pick looks like it'd work wonders on broken keys._*
I prefer the spiral extractor
Gotta get it ;)

Why does HPC-picks have this black and spotted(rust-looking) finish on them? I think it makes 'em look really cheap!! Makes me think of GOSO quality
No city rakes
Really good sets. Damn speak and text bites me in the ass again LOL
The discount code is not working
Thanks for letting me know! I've emailed the company and asked them to check. It is SUPPOSED to be valid indefinitely, according to their sales email.
bosnianbill thanx Bill.....also the website you got the best Bump keys from...... www.bumpschool101.com
Is a scam.....took my money and is no longer on line!
I know, I mentioned that a couple of times and also updated the "where to buy stuff" page with an AVOID rating. Bump key dealers are the WORST!
bosnianbill my fault.....i didn't know..... lost $135 to them..... guess it's gone!

Man, I hope I win!
I want to win
