He was interested in avoiding sacralism, but would recognize God's rule over church and state, just seeing an economic difference in that rule. But R2Kers are almost to the point where God is not God over the state.

I would agree with your observation. I am not a fan nor a proponent of R2K theology but I know a number of men influenced by Escondido.
