Hello, I couldn't help but notice that in the explanation of Most Different System you made a mistake you said - With the most dif system designed, you use cases where all but one or maybe two of the independent variables are different and you expect to find the Independent variable to be similar based on this one independent variable - 1:45MIN -- Should it be you expect to find the dependent variable to be similar ? instead of Independent variable ?

The logic of MDSD is to select cases that are different in most respects and only similar on the key explanatory variable of interest, with the outcome (DV) being similar as well. But remember not to select based on the DV

My textbook puts it nicely: "Importantly, our cases are all similar with respect to the key independent vari- able of interest, X. If our hypothesis is supported, then we should observe that our depen- dent variable Y is also similar across our cases" (Halperin and Heath 2020)
