- Here's my setup of the Bunny weeks for 2023. I think a standard weeks is going to be a fun challenge to see if I can downsize my planner process.
Here's what I'm planning to kick of 2023 with when it comes to my planners and journals. The name of the game is options and the theme seems to be blue.

Love how Hobonichi does a planner for the Lunar New year animal every year. I will definitely be getting next year’s since it’s my year of the Dragon. This year I went for the Champagne in English and it’ll be strictly for meal planning.
Aaaand now I’m off to set up my Weeks while I rewatch this a few more times. 🤣 love. ty for the inspo as always.
I also didn’t have something I needed to track daily for my 365 log so I’m using it as a weather tracker for where I live. I’ve given each 10 degree increment a different dot color and will fill in the days as I go. I think it will be cool to look back on and I don’t have to always update it everyday as I can look back on the temps and fill it in! Thanks for posting!!

The bunny weeks is so adorable! I almost picked it, but decided on the sky blue One Piece weeks out of nostalgia and hopes of more adventures in 2023 💙 Thanks for sharing your weeks setup with us! Your vids always give me so much inspiration to get my life together 😆
I also picked the same Weeks and cover combo because of Megan Rhiannon. I was torn between the dark blue Sneaker Weeks and the Bunnies and she tipped my hand. I may need to cut down a standard TN insert for extra notes pages, but I'm not mad at these bunnies.😁

im thinking about using my 365 as a very basic mood tracker, to have an overview of my year in emotions at the end
Love your detailed walk throughs! Thanks so much for sharing. I know you are very thoughtful and intentional with your setups so you may have already ruled this out… but have you considered adding a weeks sized Good Inkpressions insert to use for dailies? It’s worked well to have the dailies in the same size as the Hobo weeks. This may not work with the low buy 😅 but it’s a more affordable option that has worked for me in the past. Thanks again for sharing!
Something I’ll have to consider! I have a lot of the memo books in my stash so may try that first just to keep in mind!

I’m using the 365 as an affirmation tracker. I used a little removable sticker at the top with my affirmation of the week written out and I mark it off when I say it out loud to myself 😬feel so stupid doing it but I really like crossing things off/filling things in so… maybe it will make me do them? 🤷♀️ just an idea 😊
Thanks for this, it was really helpful. I have never been very good at planning, and this year I am trying a Hobonichi Weeks, too. I am trying to simplify and focus, and you shared some great ideas.

I am planning to merge my bujo and weeks in 2023 and this was so helpful thank you. I am thinking of using 365 dots as mood tracker by colour coding my moods. I have to work out a few simple colours I can use, not a whole range to just colour in the dot ( I may use colour pencils)
Loved this in depth flip through! Your videos and posts convinced me to buy an hobonichi weeks and I'm so excited to start playing around with it! 😄I'll be using it for work, so I would love to see a flip through of your work planner if you would like to share.

well I caved, it seems like everyone using the weeks and I wanted something that laid flat (I was using a standard TN).
I picked Itami cover, second time buying weeks. I think I like this paper (new tomoe river?) a lot more than I remember.
I'm really enjoying the english, I started reading through the quotes at the bottom, just wow! I'm gonna love going through the year with these words. I think I might get a penguin paper co, weeks booklet to use as a tester/lettering/notes companion.

Such a cute cover. I bought the Mega weeks for 2023. I do daily pages so the extra pages were a must for me. I always get so much out of seeing how you set yours up

I have the same weeks and cover (but also two other weeks… they were too pretty this year 😬😅). I think the Notte cover is pronounced like NO-tay, Italian for night. :)
yes, no-tay is the pronunciation - it means night in Italian for the color! I was definitely eyeing that cover but decided just to stuff my weeks in a drawer pouch I already have. thanks for sharing setup!

Ugh, I can't decide between the bunny or milk tea weeks. The bunny is so cute but I worry I'll get bored of it and wished I would've gone the simple route. I'm not a fan of using covers.
i got the milk tea one and regret it because it doesn’t lay flat 😢 the bunny one does.

I’ve never used the Weeks before but I’m really tempted now since I’ve come to realise that a total blank notebook for work is a bit too much work. The Milk Tea Weeks is so gorgeous but it’s a bummer that it doesn’t lay flat😢 I’ve already gotten the Hobonichi Techo Cousin Avec for 2023, but I miiiiiight order a Weeks one too 🙈
Hi Lindsey, I bought the same Notte zip cover but I find when I put my weeks in it, clear cover or not, it won't lay flat closed. I noticed yours did so I'm curious how you achieved this! Delighted you are using a weeks for 2023, love your content as always :)

They will fit a mega but it’s a tight fit with the canvas covers. My sneaker mega actually fits best!
I fold it back wards a bit! Takes a bit of training for sure

How do you determine when to write down date specific events on month at a glance vs week at a glance? Or you may potentially have them written down on both locations?
For those that have used both the fine and extra fine pilot vanishing points is there a huge difference in how dry or scratchy they are on tomoe river paper? I like extra fine for the Twsbi and Lamy Safari ut i understand the difference between Western and Japanese pens.

11:53 I think that's the phase of the moon, not kanji. Some people like to plan along with the phases of the moon, starting new projects along with the new moon, etc.
I'm kinda confused... new to Habonichi here! 😅 Anyway, does the January still include a december monthly and weekly of the previous year? Will really appreciate some clarification 😊❤
yes! the January start version of the weeks includes december monthly and weekly spreads of the current year as a bonus. the spring starts do the same officially labeled as an april start, but you get march too
