Ha i was there from 08-09, and for some reason, i miss it... watching the Canadians play on christmas while sipping on some coffee from Timmy Ho's, ha ha good times...
@rickbar123 That hockey ring was not made by the US. It was all because of Canadians efforts that ring existed in KAF. The Canadians also made another hockey ring at Camp Nathan Smith.
Imagine African American drill SGTs teaching salsa in basic as standard stress reduction training..It will be like 'Shake that ass NOW recruit, SHAKE IT NOW recruit, rotate that hip PROPERLY son!' LMAO..
@navnsi06 Yeah i guess you are right, 'they' care about democracy in the countries that represent $ for them first. But that's just the way most people think. I'm pretty sure you can understand that the USA and their allies are not the only countries in the world that could fight for freedom of the population of the world and that when you are involved in multiple wars you can't just start more wars around the globe...
@gtp77 al qeada`s home base is Saudi Arabia ( you know, those guys that people lose their heads over). It`s a kingdom, not a democracy, but our U.S. puppetmasters and the military political complex ( the ones who sell billions of $ sofisticated arms in exchange for oil ), say let`s go after Afghanistan.... and we say yassir boss... One more thing, perhaps you can enlighten me. What did the Vietnam War accomplish?
@gtp77There`sof bad shit going on over there. And here? We`ve had residential schools, Japanese Canadian Internment camps during WW ll. Women didn`t get the vote in Quebec until 1941. We`ve got a government that will shut sown if they don`t get their way. Do you think we would have appreciated some other culture coming in to " liberate or enlighten ' us or " win our hearts and minds". I don`t think so. We figured it out and we`re still figuring it out. Why don`t we let them figure it out ?
@dhodgson1000 and why that money dont go to rebuild the country, or why are not any afghan people around, its very sad how other countrys go to ¨enjoy¨ the war, when the people from afghanistan are the ones who are strugling.
@gtp77 My question was "why don`t we let other cultures work out their own problems? Is our culture so freekin good that we can impose it on Afghanis, Iraqis North Koreans..... by the way, I`ve heard the next lucky country to be "liberated " will be Iran. What a blowback the west has encountered from Operation Ajax..... but we never learn... Canada is old enough now to think for itself. We should set an example. When the U.S says to deploy, we should just say no.
@gtp77 Their method of capital punishment, is their business. Most Canadians believe in capital punishment. but our leaders say no. (They know what`s best for us). It`s better to spend $90,000 a year to give humane treatment to Paul Bernardo, Cliff Olsen and the like. To say " you`d probably stand and watch someone get murdered bla bla", speaks volumes about you.... all bad. Seriously are you over 12 years old? If you want to deal in facts, good if not go play with yourself RUclips Warrior
@phredhead youre a hyper-libertarian. you probably believe in the decriminilization of just about everything and think everyone should do their own thing. there are so many things wrong with your logic and the way people like you think as a whole. and yes, happy people do things like think freely, practice art, and have relationships outside of marriage (oh no!) whats ironic is that youre logic of free thought and non-intervention is enabling the muslims to force everyone into the opposite
Epic! Dancing salsa under the stars in the middle of the desert... almost made us forget the threat of rocket attacks
Nice to see the guys unwinding. Come home safe
