Thank you so much for the shout out sir. I have been watching you since I started researching wet shaving last year. One of the first I found. You are too kind.
I started cutting my own hair during Covid. I use a wahl cordless professional. I can achieve as good as my barber ( over time). I recon I’ve saved £1000 ($1200) win win
One-Minute’s vids are good at dealing with bulk but I don’t use his method for the top because it has the potential to mess up the bangs. Tips for Clips vids are pretty good though a little bit more involved. If all else fails, it’s back to the #1 or #2 buzz cut.
I've been cutting my own hair for 20 years or more. Granted, my hair is short, but still. I cut my sons hair also, Every single haircut he's ever had, except for one, I've done myself. And he's 9 so, yea, that long.
I've been cutting my own hair since I was in high school. I recently bought a three mirror self barber kit on Amazon for $15 and it's been a game changer. I also don't use a little trimmer because it really irritates my skin. I actually use my double edge razor to line up the back of my neck and shave the baby hair on the back of my neck and I use hair scissors I bought at Dollar Tree to clean up around my ears. If you want to use a trimmer, but want to save some money, you can use a beard trimmer without a guard to line up the back of your neck and around the ears. It takes a little more practice to line up the back of your neck with a DE razor, but the result is a softer, more natural looking line and no skin irritation. I also cut my hair in my shower to contain all the hair in one small space. I personally invested $70 in a pair of wireless Wahl clippers and I honestly don't think I can go back. The wire swinging around and being confined to my bathroom counter always annoyed me when I used corded clippers. I can't tell you how much money I've saved getting home haircuts my whole life. My mom has had her Wahl Senior clippers for nearly 30 years and they still work. It's worth investing in some clippers! You might mess up your hair for the first few tries, but it grows back!
Hey Brian! I have an idea. How about a tribute shave to the 80th anniversary of June 6th, 1944, known as D-Day. Most of our WWII vets a have passed on. It would nice to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice that day to preserve freedom! Just a thought. Thanks as always! JimG
AN easy way to keep the hair from going all over is just to kneel at your DRY bathtub lean over the tub with a (preferably round stand mirror)and cut your hair so it all goes into your tub when your finished just pick up all the hair and then rinse your bath tub out. no mess fuss!
Flowbee flowbee flowbee. I'm sorry but this bears repeating no mess to clean up and money saver And no prickly hairs. Plus the guy who invented it has a kickass ponytail
it alway feel good to get a nice cut! I always do a bold fade aka skin cuse am spanish and my hair grown lonh kinky and when wet all curly and hard to maintain if u have curly hair

Glad to help! Texas is big enough for as many shavers as want to shave. I’ll keep an eye on your channel and see what you come up with next.
Barber Shop Duet is pure fun. Those two are so enthusiastic about what they review it's intoxicating! Love them.
Couldn't agree more!
I too used his videos to help me cut my own hair. He kept it simple, which was nice.
0:45 You shopping for bikinis, Sinatra?
0:05 you look refreshed from your own haircut 💇🏻♂️

This would have been very handy when I worked in the middle east and the filipino barber went home on his annual leave..... !!!

Like they say, Its only a couple of weeks between a good and bad haircut.
Is misalignment issues a real common thing with Merkur Progress?
I once heard a joke: What is the difference between a good haircut and a bad one? …..About 10 days.
I want to see a buzzcut tutorial please
