- After we filmed this, I found out that we are not allowed to fish between the bridge and the dam. They're asking everyone to keep the smallmouth to help out the local sockeye population. I'll make sure to take all the smallmouth and pikeminnows with me next time.

About Bottles Longwood:
I love fishing for big bass, sturgeon, trout, and salmon, down to small panfish, like crappie and bluegill or pumpkinseed sunfish. Monster fish are great, but the little ones are still fun too. I fish mostly in the lower mainland; around the Vancouver area in BC. When I first started to get back into fishing I spent a lot of time at Deer Lake in Burnaby. I believe that's where I first started bass fishing. I've recently gotten back in to hunting as well.
I don't claim to be a good fisherman, but I love to do it.

Ya it was fun!! First time fishing that lake and first time going for smallies!! Northern pikeminnows can get to a decent size! They're considered a trash fish since they eat salmon and trout fry! Appreciate you watching!

Great video buddy Smallies are one of my favorite fish to catch the put a hell of a fight. Next I’m going up to Minnesota and we catch a lot there I also use swim baits they work really well

I don't think I've ever seen cultus that dead. Lots of good action out there. Love a good smallie bite. I like pike minnow too. You can make good money catching them down here. Some guys have made over a hundred grand in the few months of the season down here. 👍

Sea bass are saltwater fish. Where I am, we have largemouth and smallmouth bass. They are freshwater species.
