They said it'd be like 20 million..? To make a dredged way out to the ocean the few hundred yards..Hare Nam could do that for 1 million with his backhoe & I bet it'd only be a week to do it. Maybe a few days. 🕉️😇
Hello, my wife and I are coming in December to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We choose Hawaii then the main island. We love to kayak and Kealakekua is our idea of paradise. I've studied how to be respectful to the Land, sea and people. Mahalo for what looks like preservation and good management of this historic slice of paradise.
Went fishing shoreline just north, had to go through a new country club to get there and they tried make it so only a tiny sliver was left accessible, pretty sad. Old fishing spot turned into exclusive for the rich only wallpaper
Guys we gotta stand with each other and protect ourselves... let's find the common ground I'm a haole by definition, but I'm fighting for the same independence. I live in Keaau and was just visiting Kona side... right away I could see the issue... it is haoles, but more so the money Idk what we do to preserve the aina
OK so "Approved by the Land Board,10.27.23" Mahalo nui for everyone that carefully reviewed the plan looking forward not only now. If you look back 245years, keep your sights beyond 2268 (245 yrs ahead), b/c land does not live by human created calendars. Ive only been watching since 1976, This app (You Tube) doesnt allow upload of my verifications. But only important statement Id like to make- we will NOT know what pukas are in the plan until its incorporated and implemented. No less than a decade. Many of us would like to use our wa'a but remember, its posted everywhere, "No Boat Launching". It doesn't include a caveat saying, except traditional wa'a. Mahalo mahalo mahalo nui loa for finding your commonality.
This is a great example of what's wrong with Hawaii.
