I think many people don't know how to combine eyeshadow shades but also don't want to look the same everyday.
I would love a series where you take popular eyeshadow pallettes and create 5 looks with each. Maybe 2-3 for the daytime and 2 "date night"-looks or "party/glam"-looks... And I would also love to hear how you make the decision which colors to combine..

The quads reminds me a lot of the korean brands like Holika Holika, Rom&and You, Eglips, etc. I wonder if you’d be interested in trying Korean/ asian makeup.
I wish the face quads were all cream products! This would have been so on trend.
Idk about the market, but my stance on cream palettes in general is negative. It's nearly impossible to make a dent on them before the formula severely decline or even expire.

I’d love to see her do some less typical “her” looks. Like a casual smokey eye with browns and neutrals and less the typical pinks and ethereal colors. Just for something different 😊
Same. It's always a pink smokey eye. Her eyes are so beautiful and could carry any number of color stories, but it's almost always the same tones with a similar nude lip. Honestly, I only really click now to confirm my assumptions, then opt out when I see yet another pink eye. She's just so talented, too, so it's such wasted opportunity to demonstrate skills.
@@tbrad17 this seems really harsh... Please don't forget that Allie reads the comments. Pinks/purples are her favourites so of course she's going to lean towards that when trying new products and formulas, but she does do very different colours in other videos too because she knows people want to see variety. Regardless, she's still demonstrating her skills with the more common colours so saying she's wasting her skills doesn't seem fair. Allie is always so positive and kind as is her comments section, so I'm sure it would be appreciated by many and Allie especially if constructive criticism was done kindly like the first comment by Ashley here was 😊

@@caseymoore98 I was sort of thinking about something right down the middle, constructive if you will. She is talented and she does often lean on the familiar, too. As someone who rarely tries new colors in makeup I totally understand. Allie definitely has WAY more skill than I do AND she does have these extremely rare eyes. We can all sit here and say that "if I had these features I'd do so much more with it" and so on but I will be the first to admit that I probably wouldn't 🤷🏼♀️🤭 I do, however, worry that I'd burn out on making videos. Allie does admit that she's partial and she does try new things sometimes and/but I don't want her to wind up feeling more obligated than doing this because she loves it. I'd be willing to bet that if she took some kind of online course (like the one Geek Out of Water did a video on a couple months ago) that she would surprise even herself. I really don't mean for this to be hyper-critical because I don't feel hyper-critical towards her, at all and I hope it comes across that way.
@@caseymoore98 I feel my comment was appropriate. I acknowledge that she has an incredibly lovely canvas to work with and that she has admirable talent. I can also voice the same comments and frustrations that I see in every other video, for the same reason. Allie is lovely, but there is no denying she posts nearly identical looks with extreme frequency. She's a very talented artist, and I enjoy her calm personality, but the looks are the same.
I think a 5 pan eyeshadow palette would be a “quint” and a 6 pan would be a “sextet”

These quads are so stunning! I bought one and after I got it in the mail, I immediately ordered the rest. The metallic remind me of the hourglass scattered light glitter eyeshadows...metallic with micro glitters that didn't fall out! Mine wore beautifully for 8 hours.

When I do my brows, I use the pencil to fill areas which are really sparse.. I don't give them a proper shape and edge yet. Then I use the wax, and then I use a pen to give my brows proper shape. I really hope you try it sometime and I hope it works for you!

If I had a magic wand, I'd take my 4 or 5 favorite go-to shadows from each palette I use, de-pot them and put them in little empty magnetic palettes, and figure out a way to store everything. I love using little curated color stories.

Tip for any brow wax that needs a spray... if you use a fixing spray like UD All Nighter, your brows will freeze into place and not move until you remove it;)
Oh my gosh, you HAVE TO try the ABH Brow Freeze !! There is nothing like it on the market !!! The way I personally like to use those types of products is to use those FIRST, get them fluffed up and in place the way I want, then let it set and dry for a bit. Then go in with whatever colored product I'm using that day and fill in where I need.
There is definitely a learning curve with these products ! But I'm someone who doesn't mind the trial and error, and just playing around with the products. For me, makeup is therapeutic. Truly !

I was really excited to try the milani brand makeup you had done in another video. I decided that was what I was going to use for a wedding. I can't wait to try them. I also saw you using the thrive mascara and I am really liking your advice with certain products. I am super picky with makeup. I am fair skin and I don't like heavy foundations. I like it to look natural. The way you apply makeup really makes me believe I can do it myself as long as i watch you first.

Put the color on your brows first (pen, pencil, powder) and then apply the wax last. That's how I do it and I love it! I use the the Makeup Revolution brow wax. It holds so much better than a brow gel for me. ❤

On trendmood it looked like the blush quads had bonzer in some and highlighters maybe or I'm confused bc they reminded me of the dior highlighter palette.

I just tried the colourpop pretty fresh foundation and absolutely love it!! Thank you for the recommendation it has replaced the rest of my foundations. I have started pressing it in with the sponge and it has changed my look completely !! Thank you !!
The colourpop brow pencils aren’t new, they have two kinds, the brow boss (like you mentioned) and the precision one. They just launched new colors and did a huge restock on them. The wax is new though! The brow boss is retractable but the precision one isn’t. Brow boss launched after, and it’s less waxy and dry I believe than the other one. Depends on the look you want, quick brow or detailed hair strokes, you’d pick based on the look and formula the pencil. Also, to make it easier to fill in with the pencil, use the wax after filling in as a gel or to set your brows in place. Hope that helps 🤍🤍

I really like the Jason Wu soap brows product and I always use my brow pencil first to fill them in and then I go in with the soap. It softens them up a bit and it’s easier to use the brow pencil first.

She doesn’t need eyeliner, her eyes are a beautiful shape, her lashes are very long and thick and curled and lashline is straight. So perfect wombo combo

i thought about getting the Act Natural mascara!! i have extremely long & dark lashes so all i really need from a mascara is separation. it's always hard for me to find one that doesn't clump or feel super heavy/rigid :')

Oh. Loreal has a telescopic mascara that I think does that. Length, not clumping. Maybe that would work for you?
I LOVE Brown Mascara as it looks more natural if you have Auburn, Blonde, light- medium Brown hair. Excellent!

Got the eyeshadow quad Creamsicle because I was dying to get some peach eyeshadows. It was a color I didn't have much of in my collection and the quad was a perfect excuse to get a few without needing to buy a big palette. I love it! Quads really are foolproof

I have Cream Soda and Citrus Fizz. If anyone wonders, they are super pretty and great for warm toned gals like me! Cream Soda is a little lighter, more neutral in the mattes, but I have been mixing them. The shimmers work with either set of mattes.
