That is basically the SCY chassis. It has 18T pinion. That esc will take 3s all day long. Mine is fiited with 60a esc and 5900kv it absolutely rips. The metal motor mount can be flipped to take a bigger motor or pinion. Always new one day they would make a street car

I was about to comment the same. The controller and the chasiss look like SCY 16 series but the arms are different and probably more suited to a street racer.

I hear you dude on the audio. I have a new setup that gives me garbled audio from time to time. I can't tell until the shot is on the editing table and it's too late to reshoot, or I have to try and edit around it. It sucks, but hopefully I can iron them out sooner than later. Appreciate the support tho my guy 😁👌
I've seen this rc car like a month ago, I thought it was fake because of the specs and because it doesn't have any video at that time. I guess it's real, I'm saving up to buy it.

It's about the same size as the MJX hyper go 14301. I still can't find a street basher on this site that is better than the 14301. The only thing better is what I pieced together which is the Rlaarlo AM-D12 Desert buggy with 65mm touring car wheels & tires and 27t pinion and lowered suspension. OMG, the most fun you can have on the street with a mini. It becomes the best mini street basher ever. I suggest you try it. I used 65mm Toyo black wheels & tires from Ailexpress with 12mm hex. Rlaarlo 27t pinion. Then lower it with the droop screws. Remove the body panels to expose the desert buggy cage and it looks murdered out and sick!

I came accross this car late last night on Bg...i really like it...i think it may be the exact chassis as that new 1/16 race car i told you i liked...all the information and pictures of chassis snd parts are identical...i believe this car and those race car versions appeared out of nowhere because of companies like mjx is building incredible cars,fast,great handling,durable,all metal diffs,better drive shafts etc...like you mentioned it has a couple of weak spots,but the price for what you get is incredible...you obviously know this car much better than i do..questions ..does it maintain a straight line at high speeds on a flat surface when you let go of the steering wheel? From your video i think yes...also will it hit over 25mph on 2s? GREAT CAR and awesome review... 😊

Yes, and they do these with a 390 size can as well and they're also very solid with their longer arms and bigger tires in basher form. The only downside for me is the giant hood scoop with too much lights imo kinda ruins the look. But having seen this video I think I'll buy one anyway, I already have a 2845 (never too much) motor lying somewhere for this, thanks D.RC!

That is a great question. The instructions have quite a detailed parts list, but haven't looked to see just yet 🤔

My only doubt is about the receiver... It's a 2 in 1 with the esc, right? Because then, unless you have a radio with a 4 in 1 module... You'd need to change both and lose the lights. 😕

Yeah the lighting is actually a separate bunch of boards with only one wire running back to the ESC. I'd think you could switch it out and still keep them running 😁

It looks so nice,I want to buy it but I cant really have it because most of the terrain here is very bumpy,would not recommend playing this on a bumpy surface.

its a traxxas 4tec 2.0 with the velineon vxl3s conversion on relatively stock gearing doing about 30 mph as i havent converted it to lipo yet so its still a NiMH car atm, but ey, it rips, slides, and has lights installed by myself haha

Hi man sorry bud I thought I was all ready subscribe to your channel just a qwiq one bro you said a bout the tow in on the front of the udi car in the box should be 2 steering links change the ones on the car to the ones in the box should help you out with the control of the car as the will set it to tow out on the front end should help you out only know this as I got one of them 👍
All good dude! Yeah I found that the spare set sometimes is too much toe out, but it's easy and cheap enough to buy some adjustable turnbuckles. Glad the new SG's models come with them 👍

I have that SG you compared...i added brushless system and a gyro,but sadly i never can trim straight..either goes left or right never straight..shit for front linkage...no fun at all..i like control and good handling rc cars...this one has cheap front linkage,but at least it seems to go straight at fast speeds..i could be wrong...thanks f ok r sharing.
The SG is notorious for that. Adjustable links make them so much better. The latest SG's now have them like the mini Subaru rally car. This does track quite straight, it's really easy to drive 👍

I think i know what i need to do to my Sg 1603...watch tomely video...diffs slso need to be serviced...same with Zd racing car that i have been trying to get to not twitch around..its diffs are not anything like my old wltoys buggy which has zro twitchy bs going on...goes as straight as and arrow at high speed....the zd metal chassis porche also has much more narrow wheel base than Sg,but it steering and servo are great...unfortunately theres zero adjustments on linkage...only thing that may fix this super twitchy car is to service diffs and may a wheel change..maybe if i could find hex extensions to make it and inch of more wider would help also...thanks for all your help...😊
I think this chassis is great design, do you have any idea what oil shocks to order? I am thinking either 1/14 mjx shocks or the sg 1/16 shocks..also maybe a heat sink and fan for running hard on 3s...btw i just watched tomely vid on the new race car using this same chassis..it does 25 mph on 2s and 38 on 3s...he really bashed the hell out of it...tough as nails..thanks for the great work you do..😊
I'm working on a project with this chassis soon. I'll be looking to fit the 1/14 MJX shocks to it like you said. Hopefully it makes a difference 😁
I ordered the aluminum upgrade shocks for old sg truck i have to use replace...but it may be awhile 😢..i am thinking using hyper go shocks like you mentioned would be great...i wonder if droop screws could be installed also some how...lowering this car would give it extreme speed potential...i bet adding a 5500 kv motor with 2450 size can with a 45 amp esc.would be a very hot set up..a pretty simple setup that normal guys would actually be able to do...50 plus mph on 1300 3s would be controllable..on 2s around 35mph...Anyway this is just off the top of my head...you may even find a slightly larger pinion ..its just something you are great at....you could also build one to go extremely fast...just saying from being in this hobby for many years most guys would like to make this car faster,but not have a car that is going to destroy itself...i trust you will do an epic video or videos on this car...Happy bashing my friend. 😊
I just got mine today! I love it really needs no upgrades running it in front of my house...those stock friction shocks do not come appart..looks like those sg aluminum oil shocks i orderd will fit perfectly. Mine only taps ground when i brake,so i used e6000 and glued 3 washer on bottom front bumper where it hit...3s 20c lipo i did like 6 speed runs...40 mph imo..drives straight and true..checked temps and i could hold finger on motor for 8 seconds..its 95 degrees today...i will install heat sink and maybe a fan..but seriously unless you beat it to death i think it will be fine...😊
