The big co-op in Lincoln was my favourite place. The basement was full of games. Played the gameboy , cdi and snes in there. In fact my grandparents bought me kid chameleon on the megadrive from there for me.
I loved the CoOp as it was when I moved to Lincoln in 89, the basement level was the toys and games section as I recall it, also not forgetting RItz's, I spent many nights sat right outside the CoOp waiting for passengers out of the club right through the early to mid 90's :) Good memories. Where is Coningsby St btw ?? drawing a dead end on that one ???
There is a similarity, there was almost a "Co-op style" I reckon? The one at the junction of Winn Street and Florence Street featured in this one ruclips.net/video/wAFKGIaEgec/видео.html
@@lightanddreamsphotography7140 Yes definitely, big Co-op lettering at the top of the building which is brilliant for us history enthusiasts as it gives us glimpses into the past. Thanks for that Winn st. pic, having that many people in it really makes it all the more interesting.
@@CheesestringXX No worries, thanks for the support, it is most appreciated. I generally prefer old pics with people, makes you wonder about the lives they had in
@@lightanddreamsphotography7140 Yes,when we live in these old houses as most of us have down Monks rd, Sinny bank,West parade etc. you can't even begin to imagine the history of the people that lived their 100 yrs previous and the lives they lived.
