The way she sings it just cracks right through the stone around my heart….. and I love it…. This song carries such a special meaning to me as I would listen to it when I was down and my hubby was asleep (we live in different states rn) and it always makes me think of him with how he was always treated when he was growing up. I never want him to feel that pain anymore and I gave him my heart, my soul, and my word that I’d be the to constantly keep him happy…. Now 08.11.24, 01:00a.m., I am chillin and doing some work, I saw the video for the first time and listened to the song from a do z. It hit me 🎯. I lost my father few months ago. The part about opening Christmas presents really brought some memories to me. It elevated my inspiration on another level to try to be a better person. As you say everything happens for a reason.
