I have a feeling it's just Starman. Wildcat seemed protective in 2x03 & both Jay and Johnny (in 2x03) were apparently friendly towards him. I take it back Wildcat was a dick too.
@@foreverred97 Yup, but in 1x01 when Pat goes saves JSA members he look sad see Wildcat die and Dr Mid-Nite tells Pat run and when Pat saves Starman he tells Pat that he was a good friend before he dies... But Pat got live be father, husband, Hero and friend later so he got good Life in future

The more time we spend with this show's version of Sylvester Pemberton, the less sad I'll be if it turns out the guy claiming to be him in the present day after his "death" is an imposter (though Joel McHale being made a S3 regular recently suggests otherwise), also it's so great to see John Wesley Shipp playing Jay again especially with the JSA this time, hope they get enough character development and ass-kicking time in this episode (and that Sly can go more than a few seconds without giving Batman a run for his money disrespecting his sidekicks).
I’m really disappointed at the JSA for mistreatment of Pat. It feels like he wasn’t apart of the team more like a butler that doesn’t count towards the cause. Honestly, Pat seems to get mistreated a lot.
Not even a butler, because Alfred, woud'nt have stood for that crap. And has corrected Master Bruce...for less.🤷🏽
@@MsPammkj for real Alfred may not have the physical training Bruce does but I've seen shows and movies where Alfred can kick some ass especially in gotham not to mention while Bruce is considered the world's best detective Alfred is one of if not the world's best Super spy

The one thing i don't like in this scene is starman telling Pat each time that only members ask questions like damn you don't have to be rude and he is part of the team doesn't matter how bug nor small his role may be in it, idk it just kind of bothered me the way he was speaking to him
That seems to be a theme of some members not respecting him (mostly Starman) because he is a sidekick. I hope they address this in the future. Maybe when Starman finds him he will try to treat him like a sidekick again and Pat will put him in his place.

It’s stupid how he said “members ask the questions” when eclipso threatens them all not just JSA members also he has a right to ask I honestly think when they meet again he’s gonna try and take the staff and try to make Patt feel like a sidekick again and tell Patt how he’s wrong for letting children be heroes but then Patt is going to prove him wrong.

I think they are afraid of people liking the tv series versions of certain characters more than the movie ones. But then again are we really surprised that the hawks might not show up? They always get the short end of the stick nowadays especially hawk girl. They didn't show her in the animated justice society movie and they decided to take her out of the black adam movie.

A. they deserve to have a proper live action adaptation
B. They deserve to be seen with the rest of the justice society for once, just like in the comics
and also yeah I’m still pissed that they took her out of the black Adam movie along with other JSA members I even heard Stargirl supposed to be in that, and also we had live action adoptions of them before some were good and some weren’t that’s why I want them to be in this version because this show it’s trying to be as faithful as they can to the comics, so it be nice if they can just treat them well for once and be faithful to the source material, I don’t think that’s too much to ask💁 also this is just my opinion

Maybe they were also there together with hourman, wildcat and starman Who voted in favor killing eclipso's host. After flash voted against he was not a part of it.

Hopefully they clarify which Jay Garrick is this exactly on this show. Is he the same character we have seen on The Flash or John Wesley Shipp is simply playing another doppelganger
Since at this point the universes post Crisis are being kept completely separated, I'd say it's a different Jay Garrick.
I think it's being established that this is the Jay Garrick from the Flash. Started on Earth-2 (Stargirl's Earth) and then jumped to Earth Prime for some reason as a result of Crisis (since he was Earth-3 pre-Crisis). But he might just be a doppelganger like OneGuardian said.

Man the Old heroes of Earth 2 🌎 treat the sidekicks like less than important the Heroes of Earth Prime have the sidekicks as part of the team. In fact they didn't even call them sidekicks. But it looks like Jay doesn't treat Pat that way.
Of course we haven't seen all the JSA ( outside of one flashback fight scene) yet, but it really seems like the only JSAers who DIDN'T treat Pat like crap were Jay and Johnny Thunder. And OG Doc Midnight.
I've seen a lot of these clips so far but haven't seen stargirl once in them lol.

Yep, even during his apparent death scene back in S1 just tactlessly telling the guy who drove him around, fought crime with him and who knows what else for him that he's not worthy of the staff (guess he thought it not glowing when Pat holds it doesn't already make it obvious) like it's dodging a bullet choosing someone else, can't say I felt sad about him being seemingly dead after that.
Despite the fact that Pat looked after him when he was a kid superhero (Star-Spangled Kid)

Renegade LK- I don't know if this is the reason that will be given here, but in the comics, several of the JSA members were exposed to some type of energy that slowed their aging. They fought a villain names Ian Karkull, and when Karkull's body exploded, evidently that released energy and those JSAers who were there absorbed the energy.

Nice call out to All Star Comics with Stripesy calling him Flash in public. And Myra Mason!!!! They actually did get married! (There are fans who assumed Charles was gay because they misinterpreted a line Roy Thomas wrote in his origin.)
Comic Charles is not the same as show Charles he never married in the comics and all it takes is a writer for him to be made anything
@@JunKurosu I'm aware of that but my only beef is when fans, well-meaning though they are, misinterpret a line and it suddenly becomes canon. But then again, Roy Thomas made Ultra Humanite extremely heteronormal and denied Firebrand (Rod) was gay. So it will all depend on what era the writer was raised in.

The JSA here is modified. In the comics. For the most part the JSA were locked into WW2 era. I wonder if Jay Flash, just visited Stargirls earth and is not a full time member. What earth is Stargirl on. If Jay comes from earth 2.

Wish Carter, Shiera , and Kent Nelson were there as well. But I think they aren't in Stargirl because they are going to appear in Black Adam.
Following dc's way of doing things, that's no argument against having them appear. Many characters tv-versions often appear in the dceu at the same time.

Because they are following the source material as much as they can, and they actually want to be as faithful to the Comics unlike other shows I say it’s a yes because it would actually makes sense, I mean it has been stated that Charles McNider was 94 when the JSA died 11 years ago, so since he’s a life he would be 104, not to mention in the comics books they found a way to live longer and defy age so it makes sense just like I said💁

Remember that Geoff Johns (the infamous WB DC movies producer and comic writer that is in charge of this series because of Stargirl being his most personal creation) loves to play things for the long term.
They might get to that plot point of Pat and the others JSA members not aging (whether for time travel shenanigans or magic stuff like in the comics) later on (speculated to be on Season 3).
They better tell why there two same jay on earth prime and earth 2 better be a reason 🤔
