She caught a throat infection literally on the day she was supposed to have an endurance stream to gain a million subscribers. Her reaching that goal in less than 10 minutes is one of the most wholesome things I have ever experienced in my life. She could barely speak, all she did is tear up a little out of gratitude. Her throat mostly healed after 2 weeks but wasn't fully cured until much later. Laplus joined VCR's GTA server while she was healing and the rest is history.

I don't find anything wrong with her laugh tbh, there is a lot WEIRDER laughs exist out there. If they searched "weird laugh compilation" on yt, they would realize Laplus's laugh is still far from being called gross. People should be chill and stop making others feel so self-conscious over something they can't control themselves such as laugh.
tbf her laugh is pretty contagious. but it still sounds fake as heck for me and I can't make my brain accept it's an actual real laugh... For those who actually know about Laplus and what she went through in 2022 because of the antis, seeing her laugh so often and being as happy as she is currently is just incredibly rewarding and cathartic in my personal opinion. Laplus just straight up made a travel vlog with her model featured on real life environments, it was amazing 😍. Generally speaking, she never disappoints when it comes to 3D livestreams, they're always fun and very creative.
@@sandyk9300 It's a long story, but there used to be a lot of Japanese haters who harassed her on 2022 because of a couple of minor mistakes she made, arguing she doesn't care about hololive because her past identity is still active sometimes (not so much nowadays). The situation was pretty awful. If there's anyone who doesn't deserve any of that, it's Laplus. She's really kindhearted, hardworking and sincere but also used to argue with her antis. She's one of, if not the youngest hololive member and doesn't handle criticism all too well, something she's aware of and has tried to improve. It's one of the main reasons she went on a long hiatus after her 1st anniversary to take care of her mental health and may even explain why she decided to focus on Twitch despite the fact steaming on RUclips again would easily resolve the income problems she's currently facing. I genuinely admire her a lot for gaining enough determination to stay in hololive, and she even apologized to the haters on her own accord despite not doing anything wrong enough to justify their actions. She said she could have took them to court easily but decided against it. Few people would be as compassionate as she was if they faced that same situation. I really hope she tries out multistreaming soon, this would help her gain the amount of money she truly deserves and the algorhytmn would actually recommend her videos more, what she said about it is completely wrong. She's also much happier and active now and is finally ignoring the haters almost entirely. Most of those haters are either gone or have mostly stopped their bullying. She also does a lot of collabs nowadays and has made many friends on VCR events. Her mental health has truly improved a lot over the last year and I don't want that feeling to be lost by being forced to stream solely on RUclips. I also would like if the VODs were properly archived, instead of relying on fans reuploading them elsewhere. It's sad to see all of her output being erased permanently from her channel. I say this because she's my oshi and I want her to be succesful on her endeavors. Her happiness is what matters the most and I have faith she will eventually reach a solution that can satisfy all of her fans.
