Regarding the lable in the loo: In Islam people were instructed to sit and pee or urinate. For hygienic purpose along with health reasons. Urinating in standing position will make cloth drenched with urine splashes..making (wudu) or prayer invalid. Cleanliness is priority. Cleaning the private part after urinating is compulsory which is difficult in standing position. These are few stuff to know.
