I spent about 3 lakhs for two people - 11 days. The hotel was pretty luxurious. The beach clubs are quite expensive but definitely worth going. The restaurant food is quite expensive. I would say at least 3000 rupees can be expected per meal. The flights were about 80000. The hotel was about 66000 for 11 nights. So almost 1.5 lakh was spent for food, drinks, beach clubs and other stuff. If you take out the beach clubs, probably a little less than 1 can be expected. However a trip of 5 days for a couple should be within 1.5 lakhs even considering good hotels, restaurants and one time visits to beach clubs. Do not buy anything from the malls as the prices are more expensive than Europe and the quality of most products are not that great.
