    Great pattern parade! I may have found a couple new ones that I'd love to incorporate into my pattern collection such as the Rhapsody top.

    I wish I would have bought the caprice skirt at the time. I thought Id wait because I have soooo many patterns. But every time i see yours I want one. lol. I can't wait for the golf wardrobe video. I made the new Cashmerette Pattern skort and I absolutely love it. (I had made the Greenstyle patterns previously.) But I have an issue that I need to adjust on the backside of the skirt. I am stumped on how to fix it... (yes, I hope you make one, lol)

    I find these videos on pattern recommendations really helpful. Maybe another theme could be stay-at-home mom or soccer mom, something that would be really flexible, comfortable, but able to be active. Thank you for creating such great content. I first started sewing garments and watching your channel for inspiration 4 years ago when my son was born. At that time I didn't have any time to sew, but I learned a ton watching your videos every time I was breastfeeding and now sew for my peace of mind (such as it is 😂) and have my own channel... And I'm still watching! Just love your show. I came across an older video the other day where you mentioned going thrifting with your friend Jenny. I thought it was funny that at that time you had no idea the two of you would be working together on this channel. Have a great weekend!

    Thank you so much for reminding me about the Itch to Stitch Glenelly top. I made mine a while ago and had some trouble getting the fit right (big boobs, narrow back). So even though I had perfected the fit, in my mind, it was a fail. I put it on this morning, and you're right! It's so good!
    I love your videos! Thanks for all you do!

    Lovely to see your ideas. I've made the Tidal dress 3 times now - 2 for spring/summer and 1 autumn winter. Just love it, goes together easily and is really comfortable. I've bought the children's pattern and am going to make one for my granddaughter. For us here in the UK, warmer weather would be lovely. Its been freezing!!! I do need another pair of shorts, and the Belize look like the the ones to make. We are always optimistic here that it will eventually warm up.😁

    Could you please tell me what, if any, is the difference between the Montrose and Love Notion's Cadence (which I already own)?

    • @TomKatStitchery
      @TomKatStitchery  5 месяцев назад

      I would say that the Cadence and the Montrose are really similar. They are both pretty basic woven t-shirts. I think if you already own the Cadence and love the fit then it would be the way to go!

    Great video, I didn't see a woven tank, like you I have a lot of woven fabric scraps that I should be able to make a simple tank. I just hate it when they cut the arm hole in too much and I need an bra. Also, cup sizes would be great. Any suggestions?

    The problem with rayon is that it looks worn after just a few washings and it tends to grow. I’m going to quit using it.

    Hey Whitney! Thank you so much for all the information and details on the patterns and fabrics you share with us. I always look forward to your videos.
    I also suffer with autoimmune issues; my condition got so insufferable that I broke down and saw a Functional Medicine Doctor because none of the medical doctors I saw had answers for me aside from taking pills. Long story short, my Functional Medicine Doctor ran several tests and discovered gluten and sugar where causing all the inflammation and discomfort. I immediately removed both from my diet and promptly lost 50lbs of bloat and inflammation and feel better than I have in years.
    Lastly, I have a question; did you use a specific software to design your color palette and wardrobe capsules or just design them in a word program?

    • @TomKatStitchery
      @TomKatStitchery  5 месяцев назад +1

      I'm glad you are feeling better! My color palette is from MyColorGuru.com When I send out my seasonal capsule wardrobe, I use a graphic design program called Canva. There is a free version online if you want to try it out!

    • @cherylhendershot2859
      @cherylhendershot2859 5 месяцев назад

      @TomKatStitchery Thank you, Whitney. I actually have Canva and wondered if that was the program you use. I've had my colors done twice, several years apart, and both times I've been a winter. Tru e colors with no hues or grays. I've considered using color guru, but I can't seem to justify it since I'm pretty sure the results will be the same. I forgot to mention I had to stop all things yeast as well; I had 100 percent yeast inflammation in my gut! Who knew that was even a thing! I hope you're able to resolve your inflammation issues as well. It sucks!

    • @TomKatStitchery
      @TomKatStitchery  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@cherylhendershot2859 as far as having your colors done, I don’t think you need to do it again. It’s sounds like you are definitely a true Winter! I would just take those colors and run with them!

    Everyone seems to love the Rhapsody pattern. For some reason I can't get the V part to come out right. I need to check to see if you have a see along for it. Love all your makes.

    • @donnaschindlbeck7457
      @donnaschindlbeck7457 5 месяцев назад +3

      A little tip for the “V” on the Rhapsody, use a blind hem foot to sew on your bias tape, sew it to the wrong side then flip it over to the right side. I like to hand baste beforehand. It gets so close to the edge for a perfect finish! Second, sew the little stitches on the V by hand, much less frustrating than getting the angle perfect under the presser foot.
