- The nightmares related to my manifestation/affirmations are just the worse but it’s generally a good sign that there’s momentum happening. This experience could very well be unique to me and my friend because I mentioned it briefly and she said she noticed the same thing.
The new self concept conflicts with the self your subconscious grew accustomed to. You have to really be patient with your mind albeit the manifestation part can be instant, the self concept can take a second and that’s OKAY. Personally I’ve noticed that when I consistently work on creating the self that has the “thing” (the manifestation) I’m able to keep it and sustain it longer. It changes me for the better and it benefits me in the long run. However when my manifestation is purely based on the external, it may very well come to me and it may very well happen instantly, but it’s usually less fulfilling. I also notice it doesn’t last long because I can have imposter syndrome or feel out of place in one way or another. It may not last and I like sustainability.
I like knowing what I worked for and created and attracted can stick around. That even when the seasons change and I no longer want it anymore, that it’s a conscious choice and not something that slips out of my hands or turns out to make me feel differently than I wanted to feel. For example I manifested a relationship, not the version of me that had that beautiful, happy, healthy relationship I wanted forever. The guy matched so much of the details I put in my script for an SP…. With a twist. He wasn’t quite the guy because he was a full blown narcissist. It made me miserable. I’m not blaming myself for that, however, I take responsibility in not having been clear with my subconscious what my worth and value is. That the relationship itself wouldn’t MAKE me feel that way but that only I can. It was a rough lesson but we have no regrets on this channel. We learn and we grow despite the challenges.
Homework After Today’s Video:
1) AFFIRM! Ignore the 3D thoughts that pop up. I heard writing them out and then writing next to them what the “new story” is can be helpful. I feel uncomfortable with this technique and haven’t tried it yet. If you want to, go ahead and lemme know how it goes. I like to FEEL it, so say the thought “I make silly mistakes” pops up in my mind, instead of shutting it down immediately, I let the feeling build, I lean in, and watch it disappear. You know how they say you have to feel it to heal it ? Normally when you’re affirming consistently and your mind starts to get meaner somehow, it’s thoughts you’ve always kept in the brain, not the body. You ever heard of the body keeps the score? Well that was a score your body kept that you didn’t know about because you never allowed yourself to FEEL it. So I experience it, give it its time to shine, then release. Normally it dissipates on its own. I consider it over, then I affirm the opposite of the thought. Try it sometime. Don’t let the purging season let you down AFFIRM!
2) Keep a dream journal or a dream note (like me). I like to write down in my phone notes really quickly what I dreamt of then I read affirmations off my phone. I have my phones lighting changed to avoid blue lights so early in the morning. Your dreams are telling you stories, be mindful of what those stories are.
3) Download VLC (its photo is a traffic cone) if you have an iPhone, record yourself reading affirmations and your voice memos then share it to the VLC app, finally, adjust the repetition of the audio to “repeat one” or “repeat all”. Do this in order to have your affirmations read to you in your own voice, looped repeatedly in the night. I find it works better than listening to other people read affirmations. Albeit, in the beginning when you’re just getting into manifesting it really helps to listen to what other people affirm in order to create a healthy baseline self concept.
4) Just relax chica. Everything is working in your favor always. You’re here for a reason, you’re committed to your own growth for a reason. Billions of people in the world live like drones - not you. You’re putting effort into creating the version of you that benefits yourself and others. That’s commendable. So if you’re manifesting well or if it’s taking time or if you resonate with ur new self concept or you don’t- keep the faith that it always works out. ASSUME you are well even when you feel anything but and so it is. You’re already putting in the work, you’re already accepting the new self, you’re strong and I’m very proud of you. So just chill, take a deep breath and relax your ears, jaws, face, neck, shoulders, back, hips, thighs, legs and feet. You got this. Love ya

this video is really informative.i personally have been struggling with affirmations and i have always given up days later after starting.for example,i am struggling with my tiktok,posting content everyday and nothing seems to be happening.before watching this video,i was feeling so discouraged and i felt like giving up.thank you for inspiring and restoring me.i will always be coming to this video whenever i feel like giving up.thanks again.
That’s incredible, I’m glad it found you when it did. TikTok works really well with consistent posters with a niche. I no longer write poetry all the time (I used to since I was 12 and sometimes we need breaks form our hobbies). Anyways I created an account on TikTok back in 2021, by the end of the year I had 15k followers then it went up to 18K by 2023, I reached a million likes. It’s @miathe4th , I don’t wanna be active on there anymore because I want a different career but I’m telling you CONSISTENCY IS KEY. Please keep going. I did that by just posting every day, staying optimistic and also detaching from the outcome. You don’t need followers, people NEED your content. Hold that belief and watch what happens.
