I really truly honestly do feel in my heart that all of the actors who played the people in the series were excellent actors . The women were beautiful as well.
Most of these comments are turned off and I don't know why. You'd think they'd WANT us to make comments (it's LASSIE! it's not like anyone's gonna be vulgar). Anyyway, on the next episode, it's about some campers who see a baby deer, and think it's been abandoned, so they take it to the Ranger. When the Ranger tells them the mother probably just went for food, that campers wanted to take the baby back to its mother, but the Ranger said that once a human touches the baby, the mother won't take it back. WHY wouldn't the mother take back her baby just because a human touched it?
This episode features Jed Allan, who along with Jack De Mave (who also was in an episode earlier), took over as Lassie's owners after Robert Bray sadly, unfortunately and most regrettably had to leave the series.
If anyone knows why Robert Bray had to leave the Lassie series pretty please let me know why . I didn't know the reason as I had never ever heard why . Thank you to whoever answers my question . I thank you from the bottom of my heart .
There was a self-inflicted accidental gun shot on set which injuried Bray and sent him into depression with him resorting to alcohol. He had been an outdoorsman all his life (done a lot of volunteer work for the actual ranger service) and the wound hampered his ability on the series (he felt) and some of those outdoor activities he had done since childhood. The alcohol abuse resulted in a lot of reshooting and looping, costing time and money on a tight schedule, so they "had" to let him go.
@@trailersfromhell2539 I am so very sorry to hear that happened . I really truly honestly do wished with all of my heart that it could've been a better situation than it was . I would've been hoping that he could've had some kind of help if there had been at the time . I really truly honestly feel sympathy for him.
He was dealing with emotional problems and he was an alcoholic. The previous 2 years before he left, the producers etc tried to help him, but apparently it didn't work
@@trailersfromhell2539 So are you saying that if it wasn't for the gunshot, he wouldn't have turned back to alcohol and he'd have still been on the show?

There’s 1 drawback, about living out of nowhere, if something happens it might take forever getting help

I haven't seen this yet, but Jed Allan sounds familiar. He sounds like one of the "short term" Edward Quartermaine's
