- Yes, this is real, a year later we finally have a way to do the MSGnotfound glitch in version 1.2.1. In this video, I will show you exactly how to do this, it's important that you follow closely and enjoy the mnf once you have it!

Depending on the software you use for editing you can set up something called Auto-Ducking, which will lower the volume of the backing track according to your voice track. I took some time a while back to set this up on Davinci Resolve and it's saved me a lot of sound headache.
This is what I imagine people in the 90s had to do to unlock Luigi in Mario 64

instead of voiding out a bunch of times after warping to the medallion, you can void out once then load your prologue save and fall slowly for awhile there (then load the nachoyah autosave and warp to the medallion again to get below the water). might save some time
Just got an msg from following this! I already had msgs from older versions and a modded switch, but I wanted to try this anyways and it was fun! The Mineru stuff was very infuriating but I'm glad I did it. It's incredible how far 1.2.1 has come to make this possible, thanks a ton for the guide!

It’s so cool that there’s another glitch out but man it takes time. Remind me again why there isn’t a trial of the sword even thought the DLC for BOTW came out the same year the game did
I know the glitch takes time, but I’m kind of annoyed that the expectation is for it to be short. A glitch this length is completely normal as this is a combination of 5 simple glitches. Setups like pre 1.1.2 are not normal and we should consider ourselves lucky to even have this
@@luckstyleplays I came into this fully expecting it not to be easy. I managed to do it and I figured it would be hard considering it’s 1.2.1. It’s no one’s fault for it being a long process and like you said it’s great to even have this again

Man I had even been looking into this myself for quite some time and keeping up to date with all the latest glitches and stuff but I never expected lift storage warping to be the answer i just dismissed the possibility. So glad we finally have it back tho. I am pretty experienced in totk glitches and shenanigans but I have managed to stay on patch 1.1.2 so I ask this for all my friends who held on to the earlier versions but didn't turn auto update off in time but what all can be replaced with older and easier variations of the same glitches such as traditional rune buffer fuse entanglement, shock emitter zuggle, or map save zuggle? And what all is new that needs to stay the same? I get the beginning set up is just unlocking prologue weapons and shields which we can easily do in 1.1.2 via throw transferring or more traditional ZLOTing just wondering what else could be simplified cause this is A LOT. Great job tho and hope to see many breakthroughs in the future!
The 1.1.2 setup is a lot different and A LOT harder, so good luck friend 🫡

1.1.2 does not have portaculling at all
@@luckstyleplays But is it possible without? I don't care how hard the setup is I've probably dealt with worse botw/totk glitch setups before *cough* IST weapon modifier corruption.
@BuffYoda21 it is, just a lot harder. As I said, you can ask in the Totk speedrunning discord server (not mine, the one in the speedrun.com resources)
I don’t get why the Master Sword isn’t unbreakable in the base game anyways, It should be a weapon you can rely on, But only have the fusible parts break off…
if they had it unbreakable then the whole premise of scavenging for weapons would be pointless, and the game would boring.... in botw and totk weapons being like this is one of the main reasons most of us enjoy the game... u want to cheat have at it. i enjoy games not handing me the win. i was born in the 80's and im use to working for what i earned, not like most younger adults today with no backbone. you can see it in most of todays games.. buy your way to win or have people do it for you.. i did this back in 1.0 still have 1 save with it and got bored because **** to easy...you end up with either with a inv full of msg not found thats been fused from doing this over and over or an empty inv with just 1 msg not found.. all other weapons become pointless in the game.....👎
@@Only_Some Not everyone who does this just wants an easier time in game. I for one just want to put it in my house with my other master sword and decayed master sword for the rebellious funny screenshot of hey I did this.

I just did this and it worked. I tried a few days ago but didn't manage to get the master sword after following all the steps to the end. I find out today after another attempt that there are 3 brides from gannondorf. So i guess it did work that first time but i spawned it out of bounds, welp. anyway, psa to anyone doing this, make sure your in front of the right bridge. and im not sure if it was explained well in the video, you HAVE to have the weapon/shield equipped before dropping it otherwise the mineru FE wont work. i wasted alot of time on that.

Finally getting Msgnotfound before GTA VI
If you did the glitch then clipped and then your character dissapeared, then when you load any save then if you try to paraglide your character dissapears then restart your game
You can easily display it too by invinzuggle overloading(invinzuggle a lot until the master sword sheet nor weapon displays) the game and reload a save with the msg equipped and then dropping another weapon,then pick up that weapon and display at your house in 1.2.1.

HEy , I managed to then bring the msgnotfound back in a new game right in the chamber of awakening ! thanks to your teaching in this video @Luckstyle . Basically I just did a SLD in a new game, after getting msgnotfound in my main game using your technique .
Is there a fastrun category with the msgnotfound for 1.2.1 ? Im gunna start fast runnning the game I think
Do any of these new discoveries affect speed running strats? Obviously this specific glitch isn’t viable as it takes 30 minutes set up
The invizuggle using the map and portaculling will be useful in every category longer than an hour and a half basically

What do you mean? The sword is on the floor in recall after you end the trick. The sword is there since it’s SLDed, if that’s what you mean

Question: what risk does this pose to the actual saves/stability of the game? There’s a lot of glitches in here!
There shouldn’t be no risk at all!
No risk, just close your game and it’s as good as new
It has nothing. Just make sure you don't go to the prologue without a lot of autosaves since going through it takes about 3 autosaves. Aside from that there is nothing that could ruin your save.

Can I press the - button to view the memories instead of pressing L and B at the same time at first and then press the ZL button as soon as I exit?

Realistically speaking how difficult is this to pull off? Do I just need to actually REALLY want it??
It’s not that bad honestly. The worst part is that the sequence of glitches might come off as confusing but in of itself it’s pretty easy, there are no frame perfect tricks or anything

at 24:54 , when you zuggle the shield, lets say I miss when I bring the pot to 0,85 coordinates, do I have to re zuggle it again if I try over ? Can I reload my save from the shrine and try again ? ( the shrine with the shield we put in
You have to recall lock the pot then start over the SDC stick to weapon the drop weapon go on stick part

noooo i just did it but i forgot i have unbreakable master sword on so when i loaded my recall save i got teleport back to the wrong place and the sword is gone T-T

do i have to wait like a split second after pressing L and B? or do i have to do it quickly because i constantly have to save and reload so i dont run out of steering sticks
Yes don’t slide your finger there are a few frames before you have to press it, keep going you got this!

i cant do fuse storage that way either. theres two ways i find easier to do:
1. hold L and then tap b right before the rune menu comes up. While on the rune menu start mashing the fuse button and let go of L.
2. While looking at the item with fuse up, press minus and watch a memory (you can skip it) then start mashing fuse while closing the purah pad.
These aren't as quick and still pretty inconsistent but i find them much easier. hope this helps :D
is the msg not found unbreakable?
Yes
At around 19:55 if i run out of swords or shields would I be able to load the autosave that happens in that area
Only before you do anything with mineru, after that you need to have everything and reloading will break it
@@luckstyleplays so I can reset to the autosave whenever I want during the mineru steps but after it i have to restart

Only tips I can give you is to press ZL a few frames after L+B and to keep going! You got this

@Legends-Gaming5135 just leave everything to the side and remake the portacull using mineru FE+ cold fuse without fusing over anything else you just did, so like your steering stick for yeeFE

You have to do the mineru FEs at the lookout landing part without it because of equipment management, but you got this

Thats probably because you’re portaculling isn’t working, so you probably unequipped it at some point

How to zuggle weapon >three
I did all the steps prior correct but for some reason it spawned me above the water
I had to teleport to the medallion 3 times just to place me in the water

Ok so there isn’t any tutorial on it yet, and that’s because it is extremely difficult on 1.1.2. As far as i know only 3 people have done it so far (it’s way harder than on 1.2+ since 1.1.2 doesn’t have portaculling) you might want to go in the Totk speedrun discord server (you can find it in the speedrun.com page) and ask in a glitch channel there

@cedrolenon yes, because portaculling doesn’t exist in 1.1.2, in fact I’d even go as far to say that 1.2.1 is a better patch for glitches now than 1.1.2
