I have received my June Birchbox and also some sad news. Today I will be showing you what I got in potentially one of my last Birchboxes and talking about the news that is making me think about canceling. Let me know what you think about the new Birchbox point system (or lack there of) down below!

I’m actually binging your videos and decided to go back to the beginning and because of the point system change I actually cancelled my subscription back then. And I loved Birchbox. It was a sad decision.
I just saw this and you are so right. I cancelled mine because I hated the samples. Too many duplicates. I received the same items over and over. So I just thought it wasn't worth.
In the end thats what it came down to for me! The value just wasn't there :(
I like this video of yours so much when I was younger in my 20's.
I thought the same thing. :/ I'm going to stick with it too and see how it goes after July. I really do like getting BirchBox, so I'm hoping it will still be worth it. I'm like 180 points away from Ace status annnddd I'm pretty sure I'll never get there haha.
Same here, I really like birchbox so Im hoping they will step up their sample game to keep people from leaving. Haha same for me, ACE is way out of my grasp now!

Wtf!!!! I just noticed this. I was an ace and then my points started going away with no warning. Sadly unsubscribing after being a subscriber for three years :(

i always get horrible boxes and the only reason i stick with them it's for the points so after my July box i will no longer be subscribed to birchbox, which stinks but it is what it is...
I haven't been a subscriber for too long and my boxes haven't been too bad, but I think I might as well or maybe stick it out until August just to see if the value of the box increases. Either way I'm pretty disappointed in the change.
+Alexandria Ryan yeah i kept saying the same saying the points change is my deciding factor to cancel I have been with Birchbox since January and so far I have not gotten more than one makeup product per month and it's all cleansers, face mask and hair products, i just got off the wait list for sephora play so I'm just going to go with that, good luck with August i really hope since they did the point change they will give better boxes.
I really wish there was a subscription box with only makeup products in it, I'm not a huge fan of the face and hair stuff either. I really hope you enjoy your Sephora play box! Thank you! I hope for all the subscribers sake they step up their game!

Every dollar you spend equals 1 point, so basically you get .10¢ per dollar.
That is true! I think I said that wrong in the video, sorry about that! Which really still makes it a better rewards program than say Sephora because honestly those points don't really get you much! Which you can still earn birchbox points even if you don't subscribe to a monthly box!
alu c unfortunately they over price their items. I can buy most of their products waaaay cheaper on other sites. the points aren't cutting it since they took away review for points... and I've gotten way too many dupes and unpersonalized products. I'm done with them..:(
