I am having such a hard time securing the o-mount to the sink. The black pegs go into the holes but it’s not tight at all and I can’t figure out how to secure it. I have tried everything I can think of and am desperate! Please help😂 thank you!!
Did you try to tighten the nut on the black pegs by 10mm Hex Bit Socket? When you tighten the nut, the black rubber on the pegs will expand to secure the bowl.

I wouldn't recommend using it on a pedestal base because of the drain. If you would like I can email you further documents and specifications for these.
