- RAW: If only for one night, the original four members of Kiss - Ace Frehley, Peter Criss, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley - visited the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame press room for photos as Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine, who made an impassioned induction speech, and Frehley took questions.
This is probably the last picture that ever will be taken of the original four.

No. Whenever the band needs money Ace and Peter get a call. They are old now on the 3rd farewell or whatever u want to call it but don't be surprised the last few shows of the latest farewell tour, especially if they finish at MSG or Detroit.

Good on you Ace. The only one who respected the fans enough to answer some questions when Paul and Gene tried to control the whole evening. I bet they were like "Fuck... he's out there talking... what's he gonna say?" He handled the whole situation very diplomatically and with a lot of class.
ACE is a ROCK LEGEND, and then some! The man probably influenced and inspired more teens to pick up a guitar and play, than anyone can imagine!
Eddie Trunk really deserves props for relentlessly pushing for KISS to be inducted. The Rock Hall of Fame really is a farce. KISS has been one of the most influential bands in rock history.
I'm sure Eddie himself will pat himself on the back for arguing they should be in. I love That Metal Show, but Eddie honestly gets on my nerves with his always talking about he's best friends with EVERYONE. He sounds kinda like Gene with his ego.

Yeah I was really disappointed that the original 4 members of Kiss didn't put the makeup on 1 more time and do 2 or 3 Kiss songs. Would have loved to hear Deuce, Parasite, and Rock and Roll All Night.

I agree, Peter was my favorite drummer ever and band member, Ace is absolutely my second favorite though!!! I think without them two, it would have never been as big as they were!!! But, Paul and Gene did write a lot of the early songs and I have to give them credit, even though they are greedy assholes!!!! Lol

Bullshit, as far as influence and highest selling American rock band ever, number 2 in tickets sales of any live band ever!!! I think that says a hell of lot!!! Like them or hate them, the original lineup was amazing and fantastic 👏!!! Peter and Ace were by far the best and fan favorites, and my favorite drummer ever Peter, had the best voice in the band and of any drummer ever, fact!!! His powerful and consistent voice was so influential and unique!!! He should have sung more songs actually, and Gene said in his book that Peter had the best voice by far!!!! In my opinion Ace and Peter are pure KISS as Gene and paul.Perhaps ,Gene and Paul had the larger than life attitude and discipline Ace and Peter did not have.Peter had a wonderful voice and original drumming.That's why the magic was inthe four block unit.

Somehow....and for whatever reason ..It warm the heart to see those 4 men standing there together with smiles on their faces(or at least looking reasonably pleasant)....instead of sniping at each other in the press. I LIKE seeing those 4 people together on a stage, regardless of the context.

They have sold more albums than any other American rock band and live ticket sales are 2nd ever, and it took that long for the Rock n roll hall of fame to induct these legends!!! Funny thing is, they can bitch and say terrible things about each other, but if it wasn't for the fantastic foursome they wouldn't be there, all made insane contributions, my favorite drummer ever Peter was very important and the best singer in the band by far!!! Glad they got in!!!

Epic Kiss my favorite band. Paul Stanley is my favorite member I picked up the guitar because of him writing and singing. Ace is great Gene his stage persona is epic Peter is a great singer and drummer. All the members past and present are great Bruce Kulick also great. As far as Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer they are talented and people should let up them. People want to see the band and Ace and Peter do not want to tour nonstop so younger fans can see them one more time.

whether if you like em or not, Kiss, by their own right are one of the greatest bands ever, within the 20 most and perhaps within the 10. I mean it. I like Rush or Yes or Nirvana or many others as rock paths there are but Kiss come first!!!! It's not about the virtuosity of so many others guys or bands, but the accumulation of many gifts within each one of this four Kiss guys: Gene, Paul, Ace and Pete. They're unique.
