In original greek, the word used is προσκυνοῦσα which mean kneeling down. There's no problem with that in islam as it is the prophet there and is one supposed to be respected and one intention on doing it is not to worship. The person is asking a request, not glorify Jesus like he is a god. In hadith, Sunan Abi Daud, 5225. Scholar pov, Hasyiah Jamal page 184, Majmu’ Syarah Al-Muhazzab volume 6 page 21, Bughyatul Mustarsyidin page 638. In Surah 3:3 we read that God revealed the Torah and the Gospel. And in Surah 6:115 it states that none can change the Word of God. Logically according to the quran, the Torah and the Gospel must be the unchanged Word of God. So if the Torah and the Gospel we have today is not the same as the original, then that proves that the quran must be wrong. On the other hand if the Torah and the Gospel have not been changed then Jesus must be the Word of God which does make Jesus God. Either way, the qurans must all be false.

In original greek, the word used is προσκυνοῦσα which mean kneeling down. There's no problem with that in islam as it is the prophet there and is one supposed to be respected and one intention on doing it is not to worship. The person is asking a request, not glorify Jesus like he is a god. In hadith, Sunan Abi Daud, 5225. Scholar pov, Hasyiah Jamal page 184, Majmu’ Syarah Al-Muhazzab volume 6 page 21, Bughyatul Mustarsyidin page 638. The one that against in doing so Tirmizi 2728 but the question there only appointed on just "if man meet his friend".
Kneeling down is respect and requesting something is not praising and worshipping. All prophets are respected like this.

In Surah 3:3 we read that God revealed the Torah and the Gospel. And in Surah 6:115 it states that none can change the Word of God. Logically according to the quran, the Torah and the Gospel must be the unchanged Word of God. So if the Torah and the Gospel we have today is not the same as the original, then that proves that the quran must be wrong. On the other hand if the Torah and the Gospel have not been changed then Jesus must be the Word of God which does make Jesus God. Either way, the qurans must all be false.

Seems Mohammed was not familar with what it meant. But in Surah 5:47 Mohammed says that Christians should judge by it.
