Asa: May Allah (SWT) have mercy on this brother Imam Warith Deen Mohammad. The hadith (saying) that he recited from the Angel Gabriel, the first word Gabriel spoke to the prophet Muhammad (sa), was “read”, “read in the name of your Lord”, to the prophet Muhammad (sa), who could not read and write according to historical narratives, But they wrote down what he said. So Imam Warith Deen Mohammad tried to speak the truth. May Allah(SWT) have Mercy on him. I met Warith only one time. The most important part of this talk, other than the name of Allah(SWT), is he reminded us that prophet Muhammad (SA) said Allah(SWT) told us all to read in His name. Think about this first revelation we got! Jesus(as) allegedly said: “my words are spirit and they are life,”John 6:63, and, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away,” Matthew 24:35. Peace
