Great stuff buddy, you cant beat creeping around after the rutting bucks, the energy they produce it amazing!! That ol boy has a great rack on him, hard to believe they shed and re-grow them every year eh! The rut has crept back year by year in my area due to the weather/climate i reckon , won't see any fallow rutting till November if like previous years...

Nice bit of footage, I was visiting family near Richmond in Surrey a couple of weeks ago and popped to what was my local park where the deer are wild but very used to human activity and it is possible to get quite close without disturbing them, it is a bit of a lazy option but I got some nice shots of one of the staggs with a group of approx 30 to 40 lucky ladies. Well worth a visit if you are ever up that way, all the best for this year's rutt...
Nice one Mike, might be the easier option but some of the stags are fine specimens and great to get your eye in👍. Some people do push it in the parks & can often put themselves in harms way, it only takes one stag in a bad mood, lol… thanks for watching, all the best R 👍
Interesting video Richard. I was out walking last weekend with the kids and saw a White Hart only a few hundred yards from my back garden. Our local herds ( Red and Fallow ) haven’t started their rut yet, I’d lost my 70-200/2.8 but found it last Sunday so I’ll be out in the coming weeks looking for some competing stags. I watched them last year, but again, I had the kids with me to show them, so I didn’t have a camera with me. It’s a good time of year for photography 🏴😁🏴

Hi Richard, Great video pal. Been out a few times already over the last week or so to check up on the Red Deer rutting at Fountains Abbey Deer Park here in North Yorkshire. Albeit they are used to humans whilst they are roaming about, photographers and sightseers need to be careful and not get too close. I sometimes feel that at this time of year these animals can be very dangerous if surrounded by the Paps!!
Hi Mal, thanks very much for watching! It's such a great time of the year and my favourite time for sure! Deer Parks have their place, but it would drive me mad people not respecting them and running at them with mobile phones, shows a total lack of of the animals welfare.... They can be pretty bad if you get the wrong one, people have been charged and dogs and pets killed! I hope you get some great shots mate, all the best R 👍
