Dirt Daily. Dirty 80 Land Cruiser gets ARB Intensity iQ off-road Lights

- I got my hands on some really cool new off road lights from ARB called their Intensity iQ, and since I have an old ARB bumper on my 1994 LandCruiser I figured I'd put them on the Dirty 80. As you'll see the install required more than just a simple bolt on for this truck and bumper, but in the end I really like the lights.

The life of a Man with more projects than time and how he manages the madness, Fred Williams....
Love it. Man that price tag on a set of those though.....
Thanks for the lighting install tutorial Fred! It’s motivating me to install lights on my truck. 😊
FRED IS BACK! Heck yeah 🤘🤘
And…….. they are NOT cheap. Thanks Fred …. Keep em coming.
GOOD LORD! $2700+CAD for lights? Great video for learning but definetly out of reach for most of us lol
Everything is so expensive.. but that isn’t much more over the price of the 50-60” Rigid light bar at the top of the range.
Great little fabrication project but you will probably be the only person on the trail with those lights. They are ridiculously expensive and complicated. They look ok once you mounted them behind the push bar. The beam pattern looks good but they cost double of the price of my k5 blazer when i bought it 8 years ago
Now you can see who's stealing your grapes !!!
Those are friggin' awesome!
I love this build. Cool install video. Request for the build, Raptor coat, fresh paint video, light to medium grit. Thanks, Dave! Your videos are informative.
thanks for the videos Fred!
Good job Fred! Looks awesome! 🤘😎👍
The exact moment you turned on the new lights my screen went black to cut to an add....I thought you had seriously screwed up lol
Those lights cost almost twice what I paid for my 91 Land Cruiser 😂
true. they are not inexpensive
Gone are the days of simple wiring for off road lights. Those seem to be a great set of lights though. Only thing that would make them better is if they had an amber setting.
Awesome tutorial, and also, nice keychain! ABG!!
Dude!!! Great video!!! Those off roads!!!light!! Look busy!!!✌️
Welcome to my world mate. As an accessory fitter for a Toyota dealer here in Australia, I HATE light fitting. 😅
Nice work Man
Like the new logo!
Also,
I appreciate how you snuck in SIX ADVERTISEMENTS in the first 90 seconds, with the SEVENTH, ACTUAL sponsorship of ON-X at the two minute mark. The six? Your merch, Optima, NOCO, ARB, “Gambler” (keyring), and Warn. Noice.
thanks Luke! it might look like 6 ads, but I only collaborate with onX on this video. the rest is just stuff in the shop I use.
I’ve got the arb intensity solis lights they are amazing in the flood configuration
All my rigs that don't run regularly have 20w solar panels, never have a problem.
Hey Fred from Missouri!
That parasitic draw is the ecm, bcm, tcm and radio memory
I have to put a maintainer on my toyota rigs that may be parked for some time. Even the landcruiser
Hi Fred.
Have you considered cutting the top off and cruising the beach?
Good look.
Thanks for all of the great videos for the last decade!!
nah, i have open top jeeps for that
Can always cut 2 holes in the toyota grille. Set them back further and be better protected from brush.
Bummer they didn't fit on the tabs.......but they are pretty amazing.
When are you getting a CNC plasma table to cut out trick looking parts?
And img lad you call it bull bar
Let’s talk about that Tracker on skinnies….
👍
At 1800 bucks I'll just go too harbor freight i can get get a winch and a bunch of lights
Illegal? I didn't know the US was that backwards. Auxiliary highbeams should almost be mandatory on older vehicles with how much modern vehicles with led blinds oncoming traffic.
And ground controlled highbeams are very common on Asian vehicles. But a relay and some short wires behind the headlight wouldn't make too much mess to connect it as intended.
Those lights are ridiculously huge, they block 2/3 of your radiator.
Also not a fan of the red lighting in the switch
As cool as they are these trucks have a tendency to run hot in the summer and that’s a LOT of grill blocked.
Can you not just use an add a fuse to the high beams in the fuse box?
Hey Fred I have a 95 Toyota pickup that is 4 linked in the back and straight axel conversation up front but it sits way to high, what’s the best way to lower springs? Should I go with smaller springs or just run shocks?
i would probably go with lighter spring rate to start
@@4xFredWilliams thanks for replying man. I’ll will try that
Just an FYI no one here in OZ uses them. They are over priced and under deliver.
Just looked up the price of those lights…. They cost more than the truck.
They are not expensive.. they are ridiculous expensive....
At this point the front bumper setup is worth more than the rest of the truck
polishing a 💩
@@4xFredWilliams yea I do that alot to my old Mopars I seem to enjoy it or I'd a stopped by now
did i see correctly? 1800 bucks???
Free when you are paid to make videos about them.
No pair of lights is worth that much, especially when they are that ugly. And an app? No way.
For the lights you'd need to buy to match what these seem to cover, you're probably more spent for quality lights. Either way, they are ugly as sin. Also the app and usability seems like it would be frustrating to use all the time
I don’t want lights that are smarter than me!!!! Do I have to call IT if I have a problem?
That poor 80 series...Fred, you dirt bag, start pulling the fuses and looking for the draw. Even if it means pulling a fuse at a time and placing it in ziploc with a note on your driver seat so that if one day it doesn't need a jump you have an idea of where to look.
$1850.00 dollars they sweet but not that sweet.
they are goofy looking
