Andy Loewen Yeh this guy is decent. I'm gonna have to stop procrastinating because I'm doing an engineering degree next year. Got the summer off though so gonna do some reading and maybe think about starting a business... Don't know where to start though!
Here is the verse you referenced near the beginning: "Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men."- Proverbs 22:29 ---- Thanks for sharing this insight, Tai !
I thought you'd like to know that this video literally brought me to tears. It was totally unexpected and I'm immensely grateful for it. I'm likely one of the most "stickable" people alive. My todo list is unwieldy and spread across multiple productivity apps and systems. It's gotten so bad that, occasionally, I abandon one and start on another when the list that I have starts to feel insurmountable and I end up spending DAYS recording, categorizing, and prioritizing all of the things that I need to do. I have no short-term memory, I have an abysmal attention span, and I routinely suffer from "analysis paralysis". (I was only recently, in my adult life, diagnosed with the "inattentive" type of ADHD. Medication helps to enable cognitive processes required for being an effective human being, but it obviously doesn't give any answers; it's only one small piece of the puzzle.) So, when I say that it felt like you were reaching out to me from the past through this video and speaking directly to me, I hope you believe it. I'm still reeling from the profound impact your words have had on me. All of the literature I've read and psychotherapy I've had with regard to being more effective, at the moment, feels worthless in comparison to what you've woken up in my mind. This current feeling--this mindset--is something that I hope does stick. You can be sure I'll continue to watch, listen to, and read your words to help me remember what it is that I have to do to live the life that I want to live--finally! Thank you!
Never heard about simply not making a list , at first it sounds silly , but what a hell ... Those lists never worked for me any way! I'll give it a shot!
Your suppose to make a list. This is only for things than can you do immediately like replying to an email. However tasks that must be done in a particular order or can not be done immediately should be listed. List should be for the day by the way. If you have lists for the month - that is stupid lol. Also write your goals everyday!
I like making list because I feel like I get all my tasks off my brain but then don’t get them done! And I usually put off thing a that can be done today for tomorrow! Definitely doing this 5 day challenge. How did not makings list go?
thank u man. i have been getting stuck in the muck of list making that never gets done. it really does create endless mind loops that have plagued me. recently iv been looking at tons of well known mentor minds...but most are about making list. I loved u saying what i deep down already knew. Do it now...im not promised tomorrow. thank u. and im sharing this. Now!!!
This video really hit me hard. I bumped into it so randomly and I feel I really needed to hear it. My life has been stagnant these past few years. I'm alive and I'm grateful but I'm not happy. My whole life is me procrastinating to the point of never getting things done and now feeling lost. I am starting this challenge with waking up early tomorrow, rewatching this video and stretching. I will allow my day to flow after making sure Im not sucking my thumb!!
Sticking points: -getting over my approach anxiety in pickup (there are day by day desensitization programs that I have procrastinated in starting) -looking into what graduate program I'm going to after getting my undergraduate -cleaning up my diet
thank you again Tai! funny thing is that 3 days ago I started on the one thing which had troubled me for years that I never fully focused on to overcome. I gave it half ass attempts with my intentions being scattered about but all happens for a reason. through those years I aquired many pieces of what I needed to make an all out effort now and have dedicated the next month to solely that task. great reinforcement video brother! Blessings
My lists do get out of hand. I'm gonna take the 5 days to start reading more and letting those ideas mix, as you said. I don't want to wait or only intend to do more; I'm gonna try to do it on the spot. Thank you! I like your insights!
Every video I watch I always feel as if you are talking directly to me. All these things I have been doing my entire life are being brought to life and I'm seeing how to change this. The cognitive loading really speaks to me, circumstances have lead me to see a therapist and this is the one thing that I always want to bring up is how I make so many lists but feel too overwhelmed to get things done. This is really clearing it up and I am so grateful I decided to continue watching your ad before my seemingly important RUclips video I was watching. Your talks are going to change my life. Even if it's only in the smallest ways right now it starts with these little actions. Thank you so much for putting up these videos is what I'm trying to say lol.
I to am a slave to lists and over energetic organisation resulting in a poor outcome and wasted time. watching these talks every day is helping me to change.
I have been lagging with my backpain, bulging disc and deep muscles aren't responding. I have just started training my back daily again, thanks to your videos. This pain has limited my life for 4 years now and I really do wish that it could be fixed today or even in 5 days. Sadly, that's not realistic. Had to quit college because the pain is too much, and add to that some bones from my leg cracked due to a mistake in parkour. I will keep at it tho, and hope the pain would finally subside.
In property management, being organized and having a task list is like needing water for survival. Especially in New York City. I do lists because I forget things and in this business you need to be detailed. I’m not behind the desk all the time and on the field you need to write down your task to complete or you will simply forget or not be detailed. Also a list allows me to space out my time for knocking out priority items first and minor items last. I agree with most of what he is saying with regards to having the sense of urgency to have everything done on the spot.
Good timing to hear this Tai. My wife has come up with a similar motto. "GET ON WITH IT GARBE". Works for me. As you also said, 'Reach the top with planning and execution'. So sad how so many people only live half a life.
5 day challenge accepted! Top 5 things I have been putting off: 10 minute morning meditations, getting to bed by 10:30, reading 15mins a day, creating a genuine life audit, daily exercise. Time to kick my ass into gear!
I love what Tai said in a snap about procrastination. Jump into a task and avoid overanalyzing! Together with keep your life in perspective. Think about people, who in war, were tortured for years and survived. What do we have to be afraid of? Nothing... So go do your thing!! :D Loved this video!
I'll sign up for these trainings happening in 2 weeks, TODAY. I'll find & reserve the room in Moscow for my new English Conversation Club, TODAY. I'll contact that client who said my classes were too expensive & negotiate a lower win-win price, TODAY I'll try out Tai's "skim" reading with three books in one day. I'll email the placement test & schedule a test lesson for my other new client, TODAY. Thanks for your selfless service and for the strong inspiration, Tai!! 🤗🏆
LOVE this!! I need to work on this tons! Anyways, I'm gonna commit to whenever a thought pops into my head of something I gotta do...I'm gonna do it immediately, if at all possible, if not schedule a specific time to do it and move on. I can think of a ton of things already. Firstly, Tai talked about leaving a comment, I wasn't even gonna do that...but I thought what the heck...yes I am!! I'm always thinking I gotta filter my emails...gonna do that right now. Need to start working out...gonna do that. Need to start eating healthy...gonna do that. Need to start juicing...gonna do that. Need to start my own business...gonna do that. Gonna be like Nike, and Shia and JUST DO IT!! Thanks Tai...great stuff! The sucking your thumb visualization was very powerful...because I'm literally acting like a baby when I do that. POWERful...thanks again!
Hey Tai... I actually did purchase your program 67 steps and joined the VIP, One thing I've been lagging that I'm going to start picking up on again is actually Starting the program... I've heard the first couple f videos but I haven't started applying it to my Life. I hereby commit to start today with the 1st step, and follow the 67 steps in 67 days, I will keep you posted on my Progress. You're a God sent.
Thank you I was drowning in my to do 's. It felt like I couldn't take action because there were so many and I didn't know where to start. I will take the challenge NOW!!!!
I'm Up For The 5 Day Challenge I'm Gonna Work On My Health From This Very Minute And On The Many Things That Was On My List Till Now....Thank U For Being So Inspiring Tai...
I've followed this trick for a week and in that time I worked a railroad job to save some money, got a job in education I wanted, and used my money to buy my first car. Thanks Tai. One week down, many more to make it lifetime habit. :)
Going to write a thank you note to a mom of a friend of mines. They took me in when I had nowhere to stay. I was living out of my truck no bed, no shower, no food. She bakes and cooks everyday nonstop. And thank you ***** for giving grate advice.
I've been putting off speaking to loved ones while living abroad and am lagging behind in working on my physical health. I also have a very bad habit of responding to messages and emails right away and creating long lists of minor tasks that build up indefinitely. This week I will change these habits!
I've been primarily lagging out on school, secondary things thats been on my list for a while is renovate my apartment (Its 1/2 done and has been standing still for the past 8 months) and making a table for my vegetable grow room. A month ago I got out of a three year long drug abuse. I've got less then 25 USD on my bank account, but I'm slowly getting things done. I finished my first exam at school, got a new job and found a girl thats really supportive(All in a two week period). Time too increase the speed a bit! Thank you for being a source of inspiration Tai! I Really appreciate your videos!
Tai Lopez kinda reminds me of Brendon Burchard who had read more than 1,000 books throughout his lifetime. Obviously, he knows something most so-called "motivational gurus" don't. Wisdom, knowledge, simulation and imagination certainly ranks at the top with this new-age "maverick thinker". Definitely in the same league as great thinkers such as Voltaire, Einstein, Gandhi and Da Vinci. After all, great minds think alike don't they? ;)
How should we deal with priorities then? If you just jump to do things that comes to your mind just because you don't want to make a priority list, you might deviate from your more important tasks which you must do but might have less tendency to do because they are more boring, more difficult...
+Stephen Sunday I think we ignore our "instincts" by looking for help on "how to get shit done", "How to learn faster", "How to be more focused", "10 books that lead yo to success", "5 ways to be more confindent", you get the point. Man I'm sick of that. It is an addiction, the worst of all mental addictions.
I need to take action to understand GODs word, working out, studying my charts and certs more religiously, reading my book and letting people know appreciate and love them.
I listened to some of my mentors today. Check. I need to write about my baby girl's milestones today before the end of the day. It's her two month birthday today. :) I need to call my parents to check in with them and tell them I was thinking about them and I love them. I need to carve out time to write my book everyday until it is done and stop putting it off saying that I'm going to do it. I think part of me has been battling fear and that's why I have not done it yet. Feel the fear and do it anyway. That's what I need to do. I also need to make my CD and like writing the book, don't let fear stop me, just do it. Thank you for the pep talk! I've got this!
been wanting to wake up early in the morning so i can get more studying done.. Thanks Tai 🙌 going to bed right now good night. . Tai lopez has me focused more and more everyday hes a great motivator/mentor
I hesitate on making decisions and allow them to pile up. I may have just realized this is my cause of procrastination. I make tons of lists but almost never get everything done on them. Sounds like a new experiment!
Thanks Tai, this is the number 1 thing I've not been doing, that this reminded me I need to do. That "I'm saving up for when I can...." gotta do something everyday.
I have a coding assignment at college. I have been putting off because I have 3 weeks until the deadline. But it is always at the back of my mind. I will complete it today. It's hard but I'm gonna focus and get it done :D Thanks Tai!!
Try "chunking" it. When you have a big project like that, it's overwhelming to your mind especially if you dread doing it. Immediately say to yourself you're only doing to work on it for 20 minutes. Set a timer. Then make yourself sit down and do it. Don't spent time organizing, getting coffee, setting up your workspace, etc. set your timer and sit down and start. You can do anything for 20 minutes. Once you start, most of the time you'll go longer than 20 minutes. Never go shorter.
I have tons of homework due this week, I have 2 essays I must write for English, I have 5 exercises that need to be done this week for Maths, I have an I.T booklet that needs to be completed this week, and some another I.T class I have 4 assessment tasks I have to do within 3 months, now that's just my VCE Year 12 life in Melbourne, Australia. I haven't even started on what I need to do at home! I also am currently restoring my own car which must be completed in a months time as the car I'm using has to be given back in a month and it's all I have.. I have a messy room with lots of clutter I'd like to sort out, I'd like to get myself a steady job and one that pays the bills, Last but not least! I want a better relationship with my family! I always take out my stress on them despite all the good they've done for me! It's not fair on them and I need to change my lifestyle, right now! Infact I'm in bed and it's 12 Noon, I'm getting up and making a change... No Excuses! I really believe you inspired me Tai! Much love!
Thanks Tai, 5 day challenge just do it.. FU in 5 days.. we are welcoming Shanelle 13 days old today.. loving the Philippines and intend to make a difference in the world by having the 1st ever systematic, safe and effective natural health care system that is so easy no need to be a doc to do it. That is the beauty, everyday people are learning this system and we are going to grow to 100+ clinics in the Philippines in 7 years.. and than go world wide. Hell,, I am only 64.. great wife and amazing family here in the Philippines. Love your words of wisdom. Dr. Steven Ellsworth
I used to follow a mentor who once said that "If you want to be successful, you have to switch-off your financial anxiety." Now, most of my struggle is to free some space in my attic by eliminating financial worries in order to be more productive. It's not easy most of the time. I quit watching TV and reading news papers for more than a decade , what I love doing is to read (and re-read) a good book. I found out that the satisfaction and benefits I can reap are numerous. Thanks Tai for confirming such a strong feeling that I always had since school days.
I struggle with doing things that involve risk or moving out of a comfort zone. Things like signing up to conferences, opening accounts, the stuff I need to do to get anywhere. Next five days - no waiting, no maybes. If I know it's the right thing to do, I'll just bloody do it.
I've been putting off finalizing some of my commissioned painting projects due to overloading myself by working for another company part time and spending time with people who do not take business as seriously as I do. 9 artistic projects in 5 days. I CAN DO IT!!!
I never made a list. but I never did anything to begin with. you inspired me to do something. and I just took my first action right away. its 5 am and didn't sleep yet and I just cancelled a whole buncha shit I didn't do anything with at the time. I am now gonna take my first steps to tryhard my ass of in life. something I have not been bothered to do since 8 years ago. I watched 3 of your videos. you inspired me to work for life again something I didn't bother doing after hitting rock after rock after rock. I gave up. just did drugs and just did whatever because what the hell no point in trying. but now I think I need to try. we have a Dutch saying: if you never shoot you are sure to miss. so now I'm gonna shoot until I hit. instead of withdrawing from the battle altogether. I know I'm lost I got that going for me. I just need to get somewhere now. thank you for these wonderful videos now I just need to stick to these devotions. if I do it ill update you. you are gonna be my idol. and ill work for it to get to your spot.
Hi tai. aside from the car which is the only reason i came. I have been watching your videos. I just wanted to say thank you because they have been helping.
I'm a list person and I've never really felt content with them. This info has been super helpful. I'm totally taking your challenge Tai, 5 days! Here I go!!!!
1. Been putting off taking my 5 hr for months now, scheduling it for this Saturday today! 2. Been afraid to tell my most recent girlfriend I've been talking to for 3 months and dating for one that I love her, fuck it I'm telling her today! 3. I want to get a new job, I'm applying for one today! 4. My teacher asked me to put together a presentation on how journaling and planning out my day the night before has helped me in my day to day life. Doing that, TODAY! 5. Going to start living every day like it could be my last, today! I encourage anyone else reading this to follow Tai's advice, go out and get it folks!
Read a damn book (keep telling myself Ima get to it but I havent) Draw some more (something I used to love but kinda stopped Doing for no reason) Keep absorbing knowledge (podcasts audiobooks friends mentors) Ace those ap tests Late night lifting (sometimes it's hard to stay on that grind after practice all late and stuff) Gotta just stay on that grind man! Long term I wanna start up a business startup over the summer or something but I don't know where or what to peruse exactly, but at least get myself involved in something I can care about outside of school going into college next year.
I’ve been slacking on setting up my doctors appointments. Signing up for classes. Studying for permit test. Studying for notary test. And researching paralegal certification. AND researching environmental studies online courses
There are to many things that I don't get done in one day. I've developed a bad habit of putting everything off until tomorrow. So I want to simply apply the things said in this video into my life and do things as they are given to me.
I have been listening to a few of your videos recently Tai but this one has hit me hardest. Definitely guilty of too many lists and too many important things deferred ad infinitum. Writing this comment almost got deferred to a list!☺️ I think you got the tone right here. Getting into action, can be a kick up the backside moment. Cheers, now off to make the most of the evening here in London.
Thanks Tai for being the start of my mentor, please help me start to grow in my future with the way you run your life. Thanks a lot for sharing in Avery optimistic way. I am a very positive person no matter what happened in my like wether ups & down
For me productivity needs to increase, opportunities are being thrown at me left right and centre, but my two words for the next 5 days are action and happiness

I've followed this trick for a week and in that time I worked a railroad job to save some money, got a job in education I wanted, and used my money to buy my first car. Thanks Tai. One week down, many more to make it lifetime habit. :)
I accept a 5-day challenge! Let's go!!!
Going to write a thank you note to a mom of a friend of mines. They took me in when I had nowhere to stay. I was living out of my truck no bed, no shower, no food. She bakes and cooks everyday nonstop. And thank you ***** for giving grate advice.
1. Correspondence 2. Pay bills and make budget 3. Set up podcast
+Jason Downs What kind fo Podcase are ya doing Jason?
+Jason Downs what is your podcast about? or what would it be about?
creating an effective schedule, starting a day of meeting with my fam on the regular, new podcast, set up studio, movie tickets.
I've been putting off speaking to loved ones while living abroad and am lagging behind in working on my physical health. I also have a very bad habit of responding to messages and emails right away and creating long lists of minor tasks that build up indefinitely. This week I will change these habits!
Need to study more and use my time wisely.
Even if I don't always agree with Tai, he always brings up new thinking directions. That itself is value. Thank you for your videos.
need to finish my coding course this week
Following my dream is what I put off most, thinking, "I'll do it when it's the right time"
Tai Lopez kinda reminds me of Brendon Burchard who had read more than 1,000 books throughout his lifetime. After all, great minds think alike don't they? ;)
I make lists all the time. I always felt like I get less things done when I make a long list ha ha. This makes a lot of sense.
How should we deal with priorities then? If you just jump to do things that comes to your mind just because you don't want to make a priority list, you might deviate from your more important tasks which you must do but might have less tendency to do because they are more boring, more difficult...
Great video. It's amazing to me how we should know things our instincts have been telling us for years but we've been ignoring for years.
Cutting Edge Cool this 👌🏻👌🏻
I listened to some of my mentors today.
This really hit home my biggest weakness is putting task off. I am going to apply this in my life.
Yo I gotta keep working on my book and not put it off for a few days lemme get on that rn
Daily progression attracting a more prosperous Healthy Happy Life.... Gradually🙏
I want to read more books and work on my writing
+dodopoopinpoop what you waiting for?
Go do it right now! Get better every day!
I am starting this 5 Day Challenge RIGHT NOW! So glad I stumbled upon this video.
Wake up earlier, read and learn more about my passion skills, more sport.
I hesitate on making decisions and allow them to pile up. I may have just realized this is my cause of procrastination. I make tons of lists but almost never get everything done on them. Sounds like a new experiment!
Fantastic advice, good gravy
I’ve been lagging in work completion. I consistently hand in assignments and break homework’s late. I will do the 5 day challenge.
I have a messy room with lots of clutter I'd like to sort out, I'd like to get myself a steady job and one that pays the bills,
Last but not least!
Much love!
What im gonna do this five days is to give my very best at my job having iniciative and thinking faster.
Who did 10 jumping jacks right now?
+Jayden Lawson I did 45 jumping jacks, had the mindset to do 55 (my age). Well it is a start to get into shape...
+Brenda Jackman haha great work!! Do that at least once a day and you'll be back in to shape in no time!
Thank you for the encouragement Jayden Lawson. It is hard work phew! :)
wow you are so on! for me the procrastinator slow all by myself
I've been putting off the many tasks that build up in my business. I will build this bias towards action by doing this five-day challenge.
I used to follow a mentor who once said that "If you want to be successful, you have to switch-off your financial anxiety."
Now, most of my struggle is to free some space in my attic by eliminating financial worries in order to be more productive. It's not easy most of the time.
I quit watching TV and reading news papers for more than a decade , what I love doing is to read (and re-read) a good book. I found out that the satisfaction and benefits I can reap are numerous.
Thanks Tai for confirming such a strong feeling that I always had since school days.
One thing that I'm constantly putting on the "back burner" is becoming NSCA certified. I will stop procrastinating and get it done!
His name is Daymond John, the name of the company was FUBU.
First 5 minutes hit the nail on the head of what is wrong with the education system.

Study
Reading
Exercising
Waking up
Making my day count
And thank you for the amazing video!
Read a damn book (keep telling myself Ima get to it but I havent)
Draw some more (something I used to love but kinda stopped Doing for no reason)
Keep absorbing knowledge (podcasts audiobooks friends mentors)
Ace those ap tests
Late night lifting (sometimes it's hard to stay on that grind after practice all late and stuff)
Gotta just stay on that grind man!
AND researching environmental studies online courses
tai has taught me more about discipline and working hard than any adult figure has ever tried
There are to many things that I don't get done in one day. I've developed a bad habit of putting everything off until tomorrow. So I want to simply apply the things said in this video into my life and do things as they are given to me.
I have a serious problem taking decisions immediately but I am going to start NOW
I need to finish some school projects, without a specific due date, that have been on my to-do list for several weeks. I will do them today.
I have always overloaded my brain with things that need to get done and in the end nothing gets done but the most important
I am gratefull that you uploading all these highly informative videos for all of us who want to achieve the goodlife.
I have been lacking in action
I'm a horrible procrastinator but your inspiring me to get more stuff done
I have been listening to a few of your videos recently Tai but this one has hit me hardest. Definitely guilty of too many lists and too many important things deferred ad infinitum. Writing this comment almost got deferred to a list!☺️ I think you got the tone right here. Getting into action, can be a kick up the backside moment. Cheers, now off to make the most of the evening here in London.
I centralized 6 of my newest top 25 contacts and increased my consecutive pull up count by 1
Thanks Tai for being the start of my mentor, please help me start to grow in my future with the way you run your life. Thanks a lot for sharing in Avery optimistic way. I am a very positive person no matter what happened in my like wether ups & down
For me productivity needs to increase, opportunities are being thrown at me left right and centre, but my two words for the next 5 days are action and happiness
Get up early daily and constantly to pursue my work out and my learning every day. Need to change my mindset.
first thank you very much for your teaching Mr Tai Lopez. i feel so lucky that living in a china small town use a VPN can saw this such a wonderful teacher that i never can met around my life.i saw this video 5times to understand and this time i got something that can go deep into my mind...such wonderful idea....so thank you Mr Tai again.and best wishes
I have not been focusing myself on my dreams enough.
And I also have not been focusing myself on becoming more positive and efficient enough.
As well as not getting enough things done to bring me closer to my goals. :)
Hey Tai, big time fan, watching a year later.. my list includes getting laundry done honestly, getting an oil chnage, re-organizing my room for school i.e more productive setting, seeing family, going to work 30+ hours and 3 classes.. here we go 5 days, baang.. off me, Thanks
