I just started using this trick and I'm sad to say, it is still half-baked and messed up. It seems to use some fill trick to achieve the effect, so 50% of the time you will get a look as if a path had a fill but no stroke. It happens randomly, on copy-paste of the same path etc. I hate, I hate to say it, but Illustrator is still miles and miles ahead of InkScape and Affinity Designer when it comes to the simplest of things - vector strokes and blends.
@@Yacine3Dz Is there a way to make inkscape apply power stroke by default to every line? It is very annoying to have to individually apply the setting on each line
This is why I still can't let go of Paint Tool Sai. You need in other softs a ton of things to do something that in SAI is already applied to every stroke and you just resize it as you see fit.
It works with "CubicBezierSmooth" also! Thanks for the help, your tuts are simply the best. Congrats!
Thank you very much for mentioning it. I will try to correct it.
I'm glad you liked the video.

Really nice, thanks for the video.

Thank I have been doing this manually for 5 years now 😉

How do you delete one of those pink nodes?
Nevermind Ctrl+Alt +CLick removes it. But now how do I add one?
Ctrl+ click a pink node, this will duplicate a node on top of the other, you have to drag it to see it
@@Yacine3Dz - Thanks! It works! What if I deleted all of my pink nodes?
@@rhomis You can't, U will always be left with one that you can't delete
Good tutorial 😃😍
..... SUPER SUPER !!!! LIKE !!!
Excelent) But what about default properties?
it will help you to set your setting to default, so that the next time you add a power stroke you don't have to adjust the settings again.
