- Just the toy sections from the 1987 Argos Catalogue. Including some 80s toy gems from Thundercats, Transformers, M.A.S.K, Action Force, Lego, Tomy and lots more. The toys were the best bit right?
Why does a catalogue in the UK have a 'ue' at the end when, in the USA it is just a catalog? Who decided that?
Toy catalogue or toy catalog, it's awesome anyway!

Brief history: Relaxing with a cuppa tea and an Argos catalogue while circling things we were probably never gonna get was a favourite British pastime - especially for kids. In July 2020, the nation mourned when Argos stopped printing their much-loved shopping catalogue after 47 years, 93 editions and more than one billion copies. Dubbed the ‘Book of Dreams’ by Bill Bailey, it was the end of an era. It was more than an iconic book, it was rad and so we celebrate and pay homage to our favourite vintage years in That Was Rad’s retro Argos catalogue series.

Certainly is. Good ear!
guys the dialogue is just not that interesting. unfortunately youtube prefers excited and enthusiastic idiots. that being said, I enjoyed this.
Haha! Thanks for your honesty. The Argos catalogues were a bit of an experiment. This one was filmed after going through the entire catalogue so we were a bit fed up by the time we got to the toys!
Will try and be more idiotic next time to please RUclips!
