Not quite a correct representation, but close Chara actually did kill in the end of genocide And they were not against genocide, due to them being, well, soulless They do act similar to Flowey ig The only exception is that they don't like you killing, unless you kill literally everything
Welp that's one version of chara I'm happy is gone which is the Gacha protrayed version of chara(the only ACTUAL times chara is considered evil is in the DustTale and KillerTale comic's just so ya know which is why I hate that version of them)
@@myerscoded I mean true, and the only times that they went into a state similar to that of the Gacha portrayed version is when they are in the DustTale and KillerTale comic, and it wasn't evenly their fault as the au's creator's stated, they were corrupted by the player's genocide runs/routes, as for when they are considered females or males or even have any gender decided for them, well I don't have a problem with that, as long as they don't get into the Psycho gacha mode I don't have a problem unless they are explained to be influenced by some type/sort of corruption
I feel I need inform you that Canon Chara was never under control by Player. Frisk is a "vessel" for Player. Hence, they control Frisk rather than Chara. Chara is spectator with specific ability that's only effective against the "Puppeteer". In first Genocide route, Player unintentionally gave Chara another view of point and Chara learned to forgive rather than hold grudge against humans who haven't anything bad to monsters but only to the humans that has intent of harming monsters. On second Genocide route, Chara would then fail to understand why would the puppeteer prefer to repeat the action. "Since you were in control?" Is a mock line from Chara. All actions made are on Player rather than Chara's and they is able to "Erase" timeline. In another term, they can terminate Player from accessing the timeline. Which forces them move to different timeline. Thank you for reading my essay.
i disagree; you are using this.. twisted.. notion of a ghost being somehow tied to their dead body and thus not developing at all; that is not true or accurate. a spirit can still age and develop even without a body, and unless you have actual evidence backing up a claim against what i have spoken, i will stick firmly by that; if i died at 12 for example and continued to exist as a spirit for 24 more years i would consider myself 36 years old, not 12, regardless of what you think i should be

In the Genocide route they are our body we use to kill, emotionless, and creepy,as stated by multiple characters in the genocide route,as Chara slowly but surely takes control as you feed them the LV you are gaining by killing everyone.
