    After couple of years dealing with the ac, my car ac finally works right at the moment I turn the nob. Thanks to this video, I was able to follow instructions and replace this little guy. It took me only 10 minutes, yes, 10 minutes.
    Bought the part from autozone using the info of parts provided on the links of the videos.
    Thank you body. You are a life saver.

    bro, appreciate the video. I live in the city where it gets down to -30 sometimes. I was having the same issue. In some lower temperature days, the blower won't kick in until 45 mins. Changed the relay yesterday, and it was -25 this morning and it actually worked wonderfully.

    I’m having this problem with my 2007 350Z. Same blower motor, with no resistor. Although, I tested the leads, I’m getting no voltage reading on that plug at all. I’m going to see if there is a relay to replace in my fuse block. Thanks for posting this!

    Hey buddy, thank you for your help, I had no heat for 3 days no matter how far I had driven! Question though, after all of this, the yellow “key” light has been coming on intermittently and I heard that had something to do with the steering wheel lock/no start issue but my car still runs and drives without an issue is it because I took off the lower dash or did I accidentally hit something I shouldn’t have? Is there a way to reset that light? It’s very annoying to see. Your help would be much appreciated

    • @jerryonwu5303
      @jerryonwu5303  4 года назад

      Richard Sharma I never had this issue, but that key light is saying it is something “security” related. Have you tried replacing the battery in your key fob? Weird that it’s coming on while driving.

    Very helpful! Thanks Jerry for taking the time to share this! A couple of points I wanted to share based on my experience with this fix: 1. I didn't remove all the clips to get the dashboard piece out of the way enough to access the white plastic fuse box; I only had to remove the first clip of the bundle of wires; then just use a piece of wire, string, etc. to "tie" the dash piece to the steering wheel, turn signal lever, whatever; 2. removing the white plastic fuse box wasn't obvious; you don't remove any screws, but rather use a thin blade screwdriver to free the plastic clips (this video shows this in detail: ruclips.net/video/3bQeYE0k8bU/видео.html) and then you pull the fuse box straight back/out. I replaced the existing relay with the generic ones you linked to from Amazon...perfect fit and (fingers crossed) appears to have solved the problem. THanks again-

    • @jerryonwu5303
      @jerryonwu5303  5 лет назад

      Hi Forrest, my recommendation is to measure and verify you are getting 12V going to the motor blower. If you are not, it sounds like a fuse needs to be replaced. Also, test resistance and continuity of the blower motor. If no resistance, yes replace actually blower motor.

    Hey @jerry my nissan altima 2009 had issues with just the blower. my ac and heater work fine...however when the fan is even set to off it only blows at max setting and still does even when its off. do you think its the relay?

    • @jerryonwu5303
      @jerryonwu5303  5 лет назад +1

      Hello @MRxROID, sorry you are having this issue. There are three possible solutions. Note: The wiring diagram is setup similar for both Automatic and Manual air control. So, we can rule out that there is no blower resistor.
      Possible solutions are:
      1) Replace Blower Motor relay per video. Relay may be stuck on the "closed" position. So no matter what information your car tries to tell relay, it only knows to keep blowing. (Like telling a kid not eat candy on Halloween)
      2) May need to replace Front Air Control. It is not easy to get too and not cheap and should be considered last option.
      3) May have a short or loose connection on cable harness that is attached between blower motor and the front air control.
      Use this link. It tells you step by step how to troubleshoot your issue. Start on page 42 of pdf where the SYMPTOM: Blower motor operation is malfunctioning.

    • @jerryonwu5303
      @jerryonwu5303  5 лет назад

      It is tricky! The fuse box is attached to the metal bracket. You can see the three holes that you will need to unscrew and maneuver it to get behind the fuse box. Just follow the brackets and screws. Good Luck!

      Totally worked. Use thing screwdriver to lift the plastic tabs under the junction box and it slid right off. Since the relays cams in a 5-pack, I replaced all of the relays and now the AC is working again.. good looking out!

      Hi @Rafiq, you had a similar problem with another subscriber, but sorry you are having this issue. There are three possible solutions. Note: The wiring diagram is setup similar for both Automatic and Manual air control. So, we can rule out that there is no blower resistor, assuming you have 2007 or higher Nissan.

    What issues does it have when the cooling blower fan isn't working? Help please...

    • @jerryonwu5303
      @jerryonwu5303  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Lance Orson, can you hear the blower fan spinning? If yes and its not blowing through the selected vents, then you may have an actuator issue. (This is the flap that moves the air to face, feet, or windshield.) If blower fan is not spinning, I would check the voltage on the cable leads, check the resistance on the blower fan, or may need to replace blower motor. I hope this helps, let us know what you find!

      @@jerryonwu5303 is that the blower from the hybrid battery?

    • @jerryonwu5303
      @jerryonwu5303  5 лет назад

      @@lennygreenfield5871 I'm a little confused on the question, the 12 volts from your car battery is supplying voltage to blower motor. My Altima car is not a hybrid. The blower fan is located behind the glove box on passenger side. Check out the video around @3:09 to see it again.
