It’s a trip to see reactions to this album so many years later I had the pleasure of producing the majority of it. Great times with Bizzy and my man Monsta booyaa tribe on guitar
You re a legend. I love the sound of the gift. I remember two decades ago I found it in Store and didn't even know it existed. One of the best albums ever made
during this era, bizzy wasn't drinking at all, he was reading his bible daily, distanced himself from Bone as this was recorded after BTNHRessurection but before Thug World Order. He was very centered with himself and things just looked like they were on the up and up. Music during this time was transitioning into the new pop era of the early 2000s, so this flavor of music was far and away from anything that was being released during that time. His first solo record did so well, and it felt like a very "low risk" approach to try new things with his music. This album numbers didn't do anywhere near as well with mainstream, as mainstream was moving away from the rap that Bizzy loved doing. With everything said, this album is a top 3 Bizzy album on everyone's list
Before I Go Is my favorite joint of this album, it was like he channeling Pac for a moment. I love Heavens movie but this is by far my favorite album from Bizzy.
Righttt!!??? He is "Us" back in 2001.. Also if I may recall.. Didn't we get a 2 for one deal back in the day? When this album came out, literally.. Didn't "Thug by Nature" come out as well?? We got 2 treats in one day!! That was a cherish moment for us Bone fans!!!
@@LILJ_303 New Waves!!!! Or do another krayzie bone solo! Gemini: good vs evil. In all honest, I love Layzie Bone in the group. His solo albums are not that great. You should wait, but if you want to go in order... Sure!!
The greatest album. The gift, Heaven’z movie, the mantra, carbon monoxide, the beginning and the end and then war of roses. My top 5. Heaven’z Movie was insane but the issue with it is so many unfinished tracks on it. But the good news is he is re-releasing Heaven’z Movie I believe this year. Also the original version produced by Johnny J ( who has passed away) his wife is releasing the full version in 2023. I believe she owns the masters still of the original Heaven’z Movie.
Around this time was the whole ordeal with ruthless records. He basically went out on his own and speak his mind and not have any label tell him what he can and can’t do. This was Bizzy unleashed and fully focused on the album. Bizzy on nobody can stop me revealed he was molested and a child and bone didn’t know about it until Heaven’z movie dropped. A lot of demons he was facing plus him being the youngest of the group he really wasn’t heard and they were calling him crazy. But what’s crazy is he was speaking about owning the masters before it wasn’t considered normal in the industry and because of that Tomica Wright Eazy’s wife who took over Ruthless records and her yes men basically outcasted Bizzy. He references Tupac a lot cos him and pac had a close bond that’s why you’ll Bizzy work ethic comes from pac. BB was pumping out so much music and still to this day he carry’s that from Pac. 3 tracks or more per day. Wouldn’t surprise me if bb has more than thousands upon thousands of tracks unreleased.
Buckkk Buckkk buckkk!! This is my favorite Bizzy Album! Man.. Bizzy is amazing!! No doubt he is gifted.. Krayzie though... Wooo... He is on another level.. At one point Bizzy was dropping dope albums then he got caught up with alcohol/drugs(I'm assuming?) Mostly drinking and he was releasing albums after albums that I did not care for.. Krayzie on the other hand has been consistent through his whole Career. Thats why he is my favorite... Bizzy, has dropped 3 albums in the last 3 years... In September, on his bday to be precise... I love the fact that instead of "US BONE" fans give him gifts on his actual birthday, he (from his heart) it comes from, gives us an amazing album. Carbon M The Mantra and last year War of Roses check those albums out... Bizzy has gotten his act right,he's a monster. I love Bone!! You should check out Krayzie and Bizzy Bones album!! Love your reacts bro, esp by paying homage to the greats Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.. this is one of my fav solo albums by Bizzy, it's a shame it didn't get much commercial recognition... just to let u know, in the third verse where Bizzy is sounding angry and dissing his foes, he also references Three 6 Mafia by stating 'what the f**k is a 666'
On Schizophrenic, when he referenced Helter Skelter on Speedknot he's talking about murdering like Charles Manson The Speedknot Mobstas not the rap group Heltah Skeltah.
Great reaction, this is his best album in my opinion. But after that I'd say its between his most recent 3 albums since the Migos reinvigorated him. He's a different beast on new trap beats. Def check those out.
Great album! I couldn’t help but notice after this listen just how much BTNH has influenced Kendrick Lamar… double time flows, the harmonies, story telling, the “funny/crazy” voices… like done on (voices in the head) reminds me of Kendrick Lamar’s Lucy inner voice , along with biblical references. ❤️🔥☠️
Whole classic album there. Lfg. Nice. My favorite song on here: Never grow, whole wide world, still thuggish, fried day, father, before I go, jesus. "Murder me" by bizzy is actually the song people mostly talk about. It's a classic. Purple rain by prince, sample.
