I'm about to do the same route, but only replace the grill part because I got the BE. I saw another video that he managed replacing the grill without taking the bumper off. Sad news though it's not an instructional video. Thank you for making this video!
Thanks for stopping by to watch the video! Yes I think I’ve seen that video with him not removing the front bumper at all, but I have big hands and it’s so difficult to remove the inner clips without removing the front bumper. Fml lol anyways Goodluck with all your mods!
Hi there I ask you for the Garnish B, L Front Bumper we need to remove the bumper thanks if you had a video for that refer to me appreciated excellent video
Just wanted to ask for the new grill that you have now what cover base for the emblem did you use are you able to use your stock one becoz the stock one doesn’t fit onto the grill itself as i tried it and fitting the emblem is to tight on the grill
Hi thanks for stopping by to check out my video there’s two retaining clips you push down on from the inside of the grill. Very tight space but once you push down on these tabs with a flat head screw driver, it’s held in place with four clips, just gently pry it out
hi. it comes in two different pieces front grill: www.bkhondaparts.com/oem-parts/honda-grille-front-08f21tg7100 front trim: www.bkhondaparts.com/oem-parts/honda-grille-front-trim-71150tg7a60
The black grill will only work with 2019 and up Pilot models unfortunately. The 2016-2018 has a different bumper, so in order for it to work, I think you would need to purchase a 2019 and up front bumper. Otherwise, just try and black out the front grill with paint or plastidip.
I want to do this once we get our pilot but I’m about to just pay Honda to do it. I’ll buy the part cheaper from oem parts site but will just pay them for it Lol @ 5:08 - yeah I did a grille swap on my accord 2 years ago and I had small gap like that on passenger side. I said that same thing and have never went back to fix it 😂 it’s too much of a PITA. The first time I gave up and when I put the grille back on it was crooked I rode like that for 2 weeks cuz I didn’t want to deal with it. then finally got the swap installed and noticed the gap. 😒
Hey 👋🏾 thanks for stopping by! Yes the gap is annoying! Just needs to be adjusted with another person and tightened down, I guess that’s what happens when we try to work on stuff on our own lol. I plan on taking the bumper back off soon so hopefully things will get squared away ✌🏾
Thanks for the feedback! Will focus more on getting content of the actual removal process of bumper and grill. Hoping to find some time soon to do a video of removal process since I’ll be replacing the skid plate ✌🏾
Also here’s the instructions I followed on how to remove the front bumper and grill. Hope that helps a little www.collegehillshonda.com/instructions/pilot/2019/frontgrille.pdf

Maybe a rebuild of the parking sensors may help? Not sure how hard that job would be to DIY. Maybe make a video on that fix?
I see this channel took off
=)
how about the stabilizer front bar and sway bar
Wanting to replace the chrome trim around the front H emblem. Can’t find any vids on that. Does it just snap out?
i followed these instructions on how to remove front H emblem, grill and bumper www.collegehillshonda.com/instructions/pilot/2019/frontgrille.pdf
That bottom grille with the silver on it.. what year and model came like that?
I believe you are referring to the 2016-2018 Honda Pilot. The front grill is all chrome.
More dad wagon mods! Doing similar things to my crv. Cold air installed and also blacked out my chrome.
awesome! glad to hear that other dads out there are doing similar mods. planning to blackout the chrome as well!

I used the stock emblem on mine. Not sure why yours doesn't fit

Will this fit a 2016 Pilot? I wonder if the the bumper for the facelift will fit...
Hi 👋🏾 sorry I don’t think this one will fit the 2016-2018 grill unless some modifications are made.
Think I should change the grill on my 2012 Civic?
sure if you’re tired of the chrome look. I say go for it
@@TechTalkWithAdrian oOo Mister Miyada may just paint it down hehehe

Is it possible to put this grill on a 2016-2018 model? Or do you have to also buy the bumper?

This is terrible. They raced thru the most important parts of the removal. I did not go by this video.
