Absolument superbe !!!
A french car 50' survivor in U.S. !?! Unique !!!
La brute ?!? Nice name.
Très belle création, bravo !!
One of the coolest retro power i ever seen....This Renault has an unique 4 door cabine design....Amazing build !!
also the cheapest an non desired..
love the luggage rack ! Seriously fits the car perfect.
It really does. And this is coming from a guy that personally isn’t a fan of the luggage rack look but it suits this car perfectly.
I’m from Switzerland, living in the US for almost 30 years, and I grew up seeing this, then ugly cars on our narrow roads almost every day. I’m a Ford guy and building me a vintage race car using a 63 Falcon Sprint. I have to tell you, this is probably the cooles little Hot Rod you had on your show! Love it, great find!
Ford FTW!!!!!
This little beast, has some F1 sound, good job!👏😄
vr6 is a cool engine for sure. crazy to think it's already 30 years old.
This Guy is a true genius..
A kind of mecanic sorcerer.
Well done.
Absolutely gorgeous.
The VR6 is the best sounding engine ever. Love this build
Yes!!
Close, but Renault V10 F1 engine will always be the best automotive sound you'll ever hear...
@@Peasmouldia V10 sound EPIC
Love it, always appreciate how much time and effort people put into their builds
hey can you help me build an bugatti go kart with an motercycle engine
Listen to that sound... it's the reason I still have my 03 GLI til this day.
That thing is amazing! Kudos to the builder/creator/owner.. Love it!
I love his creativity and vision...very nice!!
Great build. Out of the box thinking. This is exactly what the custom car world needs.
Man I miss the glorious noise of a VR6!! Great build all around, I love every single aspect of it!
Wow this is my favorite one so far , what a beauty!
I love what he did with this one
I love the Sound!!!!!! my neighbour had one, it was called "Gordini", You make a fantastic job. Greetings from Argentina
He sure did build a cool ride here
(Amédée) Gordini was the official preparator of the car manufacturer "Renault".
Dauphine Gordini, R8 Gordini, R12 Gordini, etc
PS: I'm french
Man, I haven't had time to catch any of your videos, but I did see this on your Instagram and I knew I had to watch it as soon as you added this video. I can't describe how much I love this ride, a new form of inspiration, thank you very much.
That's a neat little car. I love that I never know what I will see on this channel. There is something for every kind of car lover here.
Nice build! I love this kind of custom. And the engine setup is really cool. I've got also a VR6 in my Golf mk1 and my sharan. The sound is just awesome.
A few weeks back, I made a comment stating this was the best channel on RUclips. Well, I was wrong. It is way better than that! Keep bringing the oddballs, the owner fabricated/built hotrods, and even a few mainstream rides!
Shaun is definitely keeping is word on bringing more Euro build content. Love it!
The VR6 is a legend!
This whole build is so cool and that power is perfect
Awesome. Love what you’ve done with the car. Great video. Thanks guys.
Un travail magnifique sur cette Dauphine! Nice job men! :) (Dauphine price in Europe 2500 to 11 000 €)
2500 tu as les restes de la caisse.
Mental. One of the nuttiest builds I’ve ever seen. Great job.
I remember the Dauphin. I don't remember anyone I knew driving one, but I saw some around. Maybe I remember the advertisements for them. Wow! That was a long time ago.
I remember making several long road trips, like Oxnard, CA to South Mississippi and back, before there were inter-state highways. We all chose a type of car, then counted them as we saw them. Turning the odometer over in our '58 Impala station wagon was a group partition countdown. We had a gallon cider jug with a cork, for my two brothers and me to pee in.
Odd how something's, such as this video, trigger strong reminiscences. I love what the builder did on this rig. Just pure balls out fun!
Thanks for the comment and I love what he did here as well. Creative build for sure
Love it. What a fantastic job on the design and build!!🤓🤗
Great build shipmate. Thank you for your service.
Awesome build! I love different creations that hasn't been done hundreds of times.
Now THAT'S thinking outside the box. Awesome!
I from grecce this cars where everywhere in the 70s .great build. You dont see every day, thats what i like, and it runs. good video guys.
Good job and good Sound . Thank you for reviving this old French damme cool
That’s a pretty rad little ride! Definitely don’t see builds like this everyday. Thing looks like a blast to drive!!
Congratulations from France - loved to see this creation!
This is Awesome! France is like 2 hours from over here, and the few times i/we do see this make and model. It's grandma's.. solely the elder-editions 💪🏽
Love the creativity and the workmanship. Car looks and sounds badass too 👍👍
Never have I thought I would like this car, but this is sick
What an awesome build. Very well done!
Fantastic build, what a cool fellow for having chosen the Dauphine. Hats off to you!
Crazy little car. Put a bunch of par6ts together properly and you can get a really kickass car. My Mom had a little Renault Gordini back in the late 70's. Crazy little car. Had to heat the motor during the winter so it would not freeze and start in the morning. Remember going out to the garage after dinner, putting a tarp around the motor with a 100W bulb inside and tying the tarp with straps. Was just enough warmth to stop it from freezing. And had to unwrap it every morning after breakfast. Be safe and stay well.
Sick car. Old and new era connection. Realy nice.
My two favorite engine sounds: Chevy V8 and Volkswagen VR6. I love AT! Thanks for the great content!
The sound of the VR6, so beautiful!!
We love the VR6, one of the best Engines VW has produced. This is just a sick build
It has a very unique sound for sure! Almost sounds like a supra but better and without a turbo
That thing needs race cams, ITB's and a 6-1 equal lenght header coming out the boot!!! Make it scream man
👍🏿
Metal Car Part Shoes with the car Paint on them👟👟.

Absolutely beautiful, stunning!
That's a wicked cool machine!!!
You don’t see build like that often. Looks fun.
Cool that he kept the original paint and rust spots... adds character! Very cool car!
Favorite car you guys have shown thus far.
Such a sick build love it I have no words it's just so dreamy!!!!
That is Bad Ass. Something you'd never see. Blowing out GTIs. Cool.
Dauphine By Renault a popular car at first
I love the rug . It really ties the ride together.
Oh the sound! Doesn't light the tires, but with that sound it doesn't need to. So nice👍🏼
What a super job building that little monster. I bet it is a blast to drive.
I used to own a 93 VW Golf Vr6. I miss that car!! Love your car man, great work!!
That VR6 sound!!! 😍👌
that is just so cool! amazing build
Crazy build! And that VR6 sound...👌👌👌
Killer build for sure
Looks so cool. I like it. Good design and engine work.
That thing just checks all the boxes, unique, rare, fast, and loud.
Es hermoso ! Felicitaciones por el resultado 👏💪👍
That is an awesome build, nice job.
That thing looks Rad !
Every time I see a build like this it's motivation to go work on mine... a '73 VW Beetle, mid-engine/VW 5 cylinder/Miata suspension.
"LA BRUTE" 😅
Nice job, heavy work 💪
Elle est magnifique "LA BRUTE" 😅... Et dire qu'en France on n'a même plus le droit de rouler avec ces voitures là...😥... Alors Bravo, votre passion nous sauve tous de l'absurdité...😊
Buhahahhaa! Brilliant. You just made an old man very happy. My friend’s mum, Mrs Betts, drove me to school in a Renault Dauphin back in the 70’s in SE London. Would love to drive your ‘interpretation on the theme’ screaming down Hurst Road once more.
@8:15 has anyone else noticed how well the passengers shades fit his face, it's like they are moulded to his head 🤘
Just sweet, the Sound, the Look. Realy nice he built this car!!!😉👌👌👌
Que loco un Gordini, en mi hubo muchos de estos autos, ahora no se encuentran muchos, pero vi en excelente condiciones y originales como salieron de fabrica.
I love it, it's absolutely sick 👌
The sound.....EPIC
I really liked this setup, in addition to the car's styling. This Renault is very stylish.
Quel délice ce doit être !!! Radical…..
Love me a VR6 👌🏼 Even the 12v. They are a bit gutless but still sound great!
love the rugs ! never sceen that before - pure class
Such a cool build
I had one origin.
Magnificent.
Thank you.
Une voiture qui n'a pas connu le succès au US mais maintenant elle a la cote ! 😉👍👍 Belle reconversion de cette Dauphine export
Great car. A very clever concept.
Nicely done.
Well I’ve got nothing...speachless...dude...so cool😍
Cool AF, the best part is just ripping it!! Probably gets way more Ohhs at the car shows than all that stance stuff. Love it!! 🍺🍺🍺🏆
Wow HUUUGE RESPECT for builder of this epic piece of vehicle!
...such a great project! Suche rare /shitty/cool/unknown/unrealiable/old/french/etc car brought back to life aka Frankenstein!....

That is a very cool little car! Love it!
Beautiful...No more words
Great car ... so coooool ... thanks for posting
That's so stupid and I like it 👍
This made me remember of a project from here, someone got a VW "Coffin Joe" and installed a BMW V12 at the front.
And there's a Willys Gordini (basically an improved version of the Renault Dauphine built here in Brazil by Willys) with a turbocharged VW EA-827 1.8L at the rear, pushing some 300 hp.
I'm from America what's the coffin Joe
@@rustedratchetgarage6788Basically a 4-door sedan inspired by the German Typ-3 and developed here in Brazil just like the Brasilia and SP2. Officially known simply as the VW 1600, the reason for the nickname and the model's story are well-explained in this Jalopnik article. jalopnik.com/the-air-cooled-vw-with-a-nickname-from-a-horror-movie-1631959110
@@Roddy_Zeh Thanks I luv to learn auto knowledge
